I started the Colonix detox program today. Will stay with it for the next 30 days to see how it works.

I'm sitting trying to figure out where I can buy some vinyl covering for my weight bench. The cat used it to sharpen his claws when I was at work.Comment

Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE
Tape is your friend...if you want to splurge a little try some stuff called "vet wrap" at a horse tackle shop or possibly a veterinarian's office. That stuff is comfortable enough to sleep on. Or, just order online, comes in all kinds of colors...Currently playing:

Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE
I was a schlub, man. Any of you guys can do it, I promise. It's addicting as hell. The hardest part (for me) was the modified paleo diet. Giving up the starches/gluten/processed foods will make your body play tricks on you, like making you think you're starving yourself to death, then you binge eat and that's the worst (keep snacks handy like almonds, beef jerky, bananas). That rich food is just so dense your stomach had to adjust. Takes about 3-weeks or so to get past all that, then it's a breeze, you don't even miss it. You'll be a grumpy bastard, though, I ain't gonna lie. I still eat a whole grain cereal in the morning, and also eat legumes (beans, peas), and some brown rice, which the hardcore's will tell you not to do. Here's the basic tenets of the diet:
-meat, lots of meat
-fruits, veggies
-nuts and seeds
-very very little starch
-no sugarLast edited by bh446066; 01-18-2012, 04:59 PM.Currently playing:

Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE
Very intriguing.
I'm not really into the crossfit training, but I wouldn't mine trying that particular diet. I think I would struggle with it, though..
I don't eat any sweets or drink sodas, but I do still enjoy a good biscuit some mornings and other mornings I substitute for a protein shake.
In the long run, I could probably get used to it, because I used to think I couldn't break myself from drinking sodas, but over a month later and I've still been drinking only water.Comment

Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE
I understand, it's a committment. Once you gather some momentum and get it going consistently for a month or so....dude, the weight and fat just start peeling off, you can't stop it.
Find someone to do it with you...much easier and enjoyable to do it that wayLast edited by bh446066; 01-18-2012, 05:13 PM.Currently playing:
