I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Kids are so screwed. They're gonna grow up in a world where every one of their friends is viewed as a potential enemy, etc.

All these little drones running around parroting garbage mentalities of all stripes.

****. Gonna be tough. Rethinking my desire to even have kids, tbh.

In the past you have said that it would take some hexagonal type of conspiracy involving insurance companies (etc) to inflate Covid death counts, case totals, etc. But somehow covering them up will be simple and very likely to happen? I'm not surprised, but this seems heavily influenced by your own bias and argument narrative.

We've already had reports of data disappearing "briefly."

CDC dashboard has now been shut down, even if hospitals voluntarily reported to the CDC the data is no longer accessible.

The HHS effort to manage this data is being run by a company owned by a Republican donor who was awarded a no-bid contract to do so.

I think the last 12 years especially, there's been a marked, distinct encouragement to be as nasty as possible to people who may have opposite views on things. This has been fomented by supposed "leaders" of all stripes. Making every small thing national news. Never letting any crisis go to waste. You name it. Making everything a "cause" and telling everyone their feelings on everything are not only welcome but influential and important too. Constant encroachment into every aspect of every day. I'm sorry, if something is a problem in Knoxville TN, I don't really care. Handle it and shut up. This is why, for example, daily occurrences that might have 30 years ago been like "lol you'll never guess what happened to me in the line at Subway today" turns into front page story for days, propogated and spread through all channels. Because of whiny, self-important *******s and the need to inflate. Just look at r/publicfreakout.

People have a license to be uncivil, people have a reason to promote indecency because they've shunned decency. There's multiple instances of decency being demonized and guess what----indecency wins out in the end. People see it works, so they try it themselves, and see it's successful, and then more "revolutionaries" are created because hey everyone's a vigilante, a journalist, a photographer, a writer, an editor etc by virtue of that little device in their pockets. And since nobody has the gumption to say "No, this **** stops here" (and how could they when they go after your life, your job, your, your family, your existence, etc) all it is it just gets rolled to the next grievance.

In short, and this is just one aspect of a puzzle that's been slowly filled in over God knows how long, people are flexing.

Kids see this, this is the world they're growing up in. This is how they think everything works now. And they're not wrong, because it is how it works now. There was (don't tell me there wasn't, I lived through it) a time where **** happened and people wouldn't care. But now they're bred to care. And then they get surprised if anyone dare to push back.
It's complete cultural, social, political, economic rot coupled with certain technological developments that have encouraged this.
And it's only gonna get worse. Even in the last few years especially, it's gotten way worse. And they're told that they're being virtuous and solving problems even though they're creating more and more.

                Rough times ahead.

Just informed a customer came into our dealership apparently knowing they had tested positive and bought a new tractor and filled all paperwork in finance office.

Georgia Governor Kemp has filed a lawsuit against Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and the Atlanta City Council following her efforts to require face masks in public places during the pandemic.

Coworker positive. Tested a few days after his symptoms subsided which were active to a decent degree.

Still active in his body though. Still shedding it I presume. He has a followup test next Friday.

Luckily we're working from home but he's basically confined to his room and lives with others including his grandma.

                      Stinks.

I feel this man. I don't always agree with you. But I always believe you're being real and i do respect that. I think some things are good that have come to light. Racists getting exposed etc. But I do believe that alot of people jump on bandwagons. It's easy to do. And they follow these trends.

I don't believe the majority of people do this stuff for the right reason. It's easy to pile on. The world today isn't what I grew up in and I'm only 30.

I'm so burnt out with this world man Hollywood and Washington is filled with pedophiles. Alot of my favorite athletes are fake. Kobe is gone. I hate both political parties with a passion. Sports are irrelevant. It's like my life is a big lie.

And I'm honestly confused as ****. And I know plenty of people are struggling too. But damn this year ****ing sucks.

We're definitely in a the twitter era where "agree to disagree" doesn't exist. If you disagree you are a POS. And people don't see opposing opinions as useful. They are viewed as, at best, false equivalencies by definition, and at worst pure evil.

Absolutely dude. And that's a big part of the problem. A lot of faith has been shattered. Not that anyone really had toooooooo many delusions about the people they looked up to. But **** like this is going to cause major problems in people. Major problems. I know for me personally, I have zero faith and practically little love in so much that I used to. Sports included. Big one is sports.

Some people like that it has and will and actively work to do it because it's the only way to make sure their objectives whatever they may be get across. Get people so desperate, so despondent that they'll ask for or acquiesce to anything. Breaking people's will is a common theme throughout all of human history. It's not conspiracy----it's just the playbook.

I honestly completely understand people believing in conspiracy theories. Because who the **** can you trust anymore? The news is biased that's not a conspiracy. It's obviously slanted towards certain agendas. It's not all fake but the truth is the convenient truth.

The stuff coming out about Hollywood is disgusting vile and horrifying. "You know I watched Nickelodeon and Disney as a kid".Washington is in the thick of it too. You know our supposed leaders. Smh. I'm already sickened. What's gonna come out next i don't know. But I know it's just the tip of the iceberg. Those were once conspiracies. And now it's all true. And I know there were prominent people on Epstein Island that are gonna blow people away.

What's next? The sports world. Well we are seeing that a little bit now. Just today with the scumbag that worked with that pro football team in Washington.

I've lost my trust in everything and so have others for good reason.
