Uggggh.

23-20 loss in OT. They blocked my game winning fg in OT, then drove down and kicked game winning fg. I go to 6-5. Tough loss, Ryan back against chiefs next game.

So.... I restarted again. I forced like 3 games at the end of the season, and then the next season was weird and crazy. Also I did some unrealistic things that aren't sim, like doing the trades needed to get all the guys out of the draft I wanted.

After restarting, I'm enjoying this very much. I've got one preseason game left and I'm 2-1. Haven't had a game where either team got over 28 points. Enjoy a little position battle I'm having between Storm Johnson and TJ Yeldon, and the a battle for 2nd string QB between Tuel and Morris.

I'm sure getting rid of the tuner is a big help to the new franchise too

What's the best challenging auto subs for default sliders? Is 80/60 the best or is there anything better?

These sliders are still kicking butt for me. I feel like every game is different, but the strengths and weaknesses for each team manage to play out fairly well. I'm convinced that messing with game play sliders only does bad things to your franchise. My team's pass rush is pretty awesome now, I don't even control players on defense - I just watch them dominate with constant pressure.

I'm trying something new to keep the game from getting too stale. Since building a team is too easy IMO, I decided to start over and put 95% of resources towards my defense and go dollar store on every offensive position (except for QB, it's just too frustrating playing with a bad QB in this game). Year 1 was brutal, year 2 is looking promising though. We'll see how it goes!

Do I have to user catch every pass? My WR's (I play the Steelers) are dropping way too many, about half. That ain't NFL quality.

You don't have to, but you DO need to aim your passes and lead your receivers to avoid contact as much as possible.
