I have some other explanations on page 978, but this is the neater version I suppose. The penalties I believe I finally have perfect. Feels like a real game as far as that is concerned. One other thing I've found out is pass blocking does have some affect on run blocking.


All-Madden
NORMAL
8 or 10 Minutes
Accelerated clock and minimum clock time both off
Ball carrier move set to assist
Defensive assists all on

HUMAN/CPU
QB: 10/8
Pass Block: 40/36
WR: 80/72 (Cuts down on WR drops while being hit)
Run Block: 68/63 (CPU has better run blocking than Human)
Fumbles: 58/58
Pass D Reac.: 14/100 (Helps defeat the automatic win for Human WRs in man press coverage)
Interceptions: 48/45 (Helps with low interception stats)
Pass Cov: 84/100 (Same expalanation as Reaction Time)
Tackling: 45/44

FG Power: 50
FG Acc: 75
Punt Power: 50
Punt Acc: 98 (The kicking meter really hurts coffin punting. Which is why this is where it's at)
KO Power: 50

Fatigue 55
Threshold 95

Offside: 50
False Start: 16 (Was having too many, had to lower this)
Holding: 48
D Holding: 58
Face Mask: 50
D PI: 60

All other penalties on with illegal block in back and roughing the passer at 50.

I take closer look at pass coverage and reaction time sliders. Like Tyman said pass coverage is reversed. I set offensive play for me and man defense for CPU. On zone I couldn't see a difference. But on pass coverage set on 100 I can make a play without any problems. Also defender was 2-3 yards far from receiver. Of course if I wait longer I have more trouble to make the play. On 0 defender was very very close. Even if pass was completed I was stopped in same point where receiver caught the ball. Hardly ever I could make more than 2 yards. In most situation defender knocked ball because run in same line. No matter I threw bullet or touch pass. On 100 there was no chance for defender to make same good play. The best what cpu can do is to make a tackle just right after receiver catch the ball. Nothing more.
Indeed I can't to figure out time reaction.

No, I just keep restarting my CFM lol. I haven't ever used play now in Madden. Ever. Madden 17 has had some really nice improvements over past years' games, especially after this last 1.10 patch. But this has been one of the most frustrating Madden's to get right in terms of settings and sliders. Every time I get the game working to the way I like it, they release another patch. Anyway, I've got two sets that play great, one all-madden and one all-pro, but things have been hectic between my 6 year old son and now 2-month old daughter. I'm going to get my CFM underway later on this morning after a few hours of shuteye. Now the hard part - picking a team!

I agree this has been the most frustrating. I had it perfect in Janurary until the path. I can never get it back to that, but very close now. And why is picking a team hard? Just pick the Raiders and make improvements.
