After you run enough plays (recommend 20), then pause and go over to sliders and adjust the cpu defense sliders and your offense sliders to where you think needs to be increased or decreased, go by fives. Then run a few more plays and see how it feels. Then Exit, and go back and select two random teams again and go through the same process. After you exit again, this time you want to select your favorite team or the team you'll be using in your cfm, select a random team for the cpu and try the process again. Now you should be done with offense for yourself and defense for yourself. Now it's time to do the same exact process but this time you'll be on defense and the cpu will be on offense. After you've finished up the process, you've found the slider set for yourself. You need to go save your adjustments though, so go into the settings > sliders and then save the file. Make sure and do it for both cpu and user. After you save them you want to load them up, so that way your game always loads them when you log into the game. Now you can go import them in your cfm. Yes, lot of info but this is how I create my sets... This will save you so much time. You could just play games and slowly work on slider set or you could invest an hour or two and do it how I do it.
Doesnt practice play differently than cfm like play now does though?

No. It's a Madden theory.

Well I think it’s time I give the purple set a shot, or flazkos personal set. Game was close because I was in coast mode, could have easily killed the packers.

Think my team is stacked enough to the point where I need to make it more challenging now

Try the purple set first.

Re: Flazko's Madden 18 Sliders and Settings

Referring to my personal adjustments set, Cpu defense coverage and reaction at 45 is pretty good. It's a bit challenging but sometimes you can catch the defense sleeping. I noticed on all madden, you really gotta throw the ball before your WR makes his move at the top of his route. You gotta throw it before he cuts. That little bit of split second separation is key.
