What I did last yr is just edit the traits of the teams im playing from week to week inside CFM. This way u edit a team and play a game and not get burnt out from back to back hrs of editing. Pretty simple & easy to do, no need to edit the roster all at once.

What traits did you edit please? And for which players? Or was it all of them?

Yeah, way easier to edit in cfm, more streamlined. Looked at the edit screen in main menu and it took me a while to find speed. It was three quarters of a way down. Main menu editing looks like a nightmare. Plus, like you said, editing as you go isn’t as bad.

Do changing the traits affect CPU sim stats in other games?

I just did all them a certain way, but really you can do it anyway you please. Really no wrong way to edit the traits. I always turn high motor off, i think thats the one trait that needs to be edited for sure.

Not sure. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it does. I know a guy that tests sim stats and said the trait edited one’s do effect the simmed games. The stat leaders were way varied. Run teams like NYJ led the league in passing attempts by a large margin. Didn’t test myself. This was also before this patch. Sim a whole season with ea’s roster, take pics of stats, then sim a trait edited roster and compare the stats. Only way to know for sure.
