Looks good. Definitely an outcome I could see playing the Rams. I just finished up my first game with the slider changes I made and it was.. okay-ish. I'll post the stats shortly.

I think I got it where I want it until something else changes.
I did it in steps
WR Catching needed to be lowered tried it at 45
I also tested tackling at 40

Yea, I think yours are pretty spot on. The stats to this game were a little odd with those two changes. I think dropping WR Catching to 35 was the reason the completion percentage of Ryan and Wentz were around 57%. The run game was pretty good and play calling felt a little more balanced. Sacks were alright at 5 total. Pass Deflections were pretty high at 17. Penalties were horrible with only 3 total (there needs to be around 5-8 penalties per team on average).

I think Tackling at 40 did help a bit. Defenders weren't sliding off the ball carrier as if they were covered in butter as often as they were before. So ball carriers that should've been stopped were stopped, resulting in less crazy runs and touchdowns (although Agholor's 229 YDs, 2 TDs would seem to tell you otherwise lol).

So yea, WR Catching is back to where it was at 40. But I may test a few more games with Tackling at 40, as I did feel it improved the game a bit. I might mess around with the penalty sliders as well to increase the number of penalties in a game to realistic averages.

Thanks man! there was a reason I went to 35 from 40 but I forget, prob because the butter was needed, there was something I didn't like, let's see what your testing gets us. Penalties vary very widely.. you gotta watch a lot of games.
Welcome to operationsports I see you are a newbie, I think.. LOL

No prob! A few more games will see what 40 really does (if anything). It did feel like there was a slight improvement, but we'll see. At 35 it sometimes felt like the entire defense forgot how to tackle another player. And penalties definitely do vary. I wish they were a bit more consistent though. It feels so weird to see a team with no penalties at all (even 2 or 3). I'll see what happens if I mess with them.

Thanks! I've been a lurker for a couple years looking at sliders for Madden and NBA 2K. So I decided to finally make an account earlier this year since I visit this place frequently. Lol

I had the Tackle slider at 10 for a long time ( which was needed before the patches for 15 minutes), I'm not seeing that many slides now as before, looks good to me and the run game needs it, let's see what you see, seems just right to me now.

Happy you stopped by, not that many understand or play this way.

For sure, I don’t doubt that at all. Patches can change the game drastically sometimes. I’ve only had M19 for a couple weeks (waited for a price drop on PC), so I can’t comment on earlier slider sets. Lol

Im happy to have popped in. I wish more people would understand it and be open to it. Playing the game this way is fun. I’ve been doing it the past few years. Not very many CPU vs CPU threads; especially those for 15 minute quarters.

Cool!! PC is King! Mods will take us even higher.
15 minute quarters is the only option for me or it goes in the trash, that's the definition of a football simulation.
