How many have already stopped playing m18?

I didn't even make it through the 10-hour trial on EA Access. I'm still playing 17, but to be fair, that game doesn't do much for me, either.

My main football fix these days comes from NCAA 14 on my 360. It's nice to see off-target throws from me and the CPU. ÇPU QB's know when to scramble (could be argued some scramble too much, but no game is perfect). Player and team ratings matter in match ups. Playing Oregon feels different than playing Alabama.

I hadn't played Madden in about 4 years, it was on 360. I got 17 for PS4 seeing that there were plenty of rosters available to play a 2017-18 season. I set it up with rosters, spent hours trying to figure out how to get it to work for regular straight-forward season play, finally got everything set up. It just so happens that at the same time I rediscovered 2K5 and the big community of people playing Madden 08. And there is something so much better, so much purer, so much more "football" about those two games. Madden17 is so... loud. And too in your face, and too much messy UI, and too many options, and just plain... too much.
I'm glad I got M17 used. But I may just go and sell it because the other two games are serving my current season needs perfectly fine. And I don't have to worry about stupid XP that I'm never gonna use getting in the way of everything I try to do.

I'm not seeing the common sense to the complaint?

No, I don't actually think that it should be locked. I'm just amused and giving legitimate kudos to the OP for creating a gripe thread that has the veneer of being a simple query. On message boards very few conversations are just conversations, no worries. I'm also not disparaging the Mods, I know that you guys know what's up, no harm, no foul.

I don't get it....why do those who like the game care what others think?
And why try to make it appear as trolling or an agenda post when someone doesn't feel the same??
And the holier than thou attitude in your post is a bit much.
If we wanted to simply say Madden sucks this year, what would it matter, anyway? I don't get it.

I swear these are my exact feelings. Didn’t even finish the trial but don’t play m17. Just NCAA 14 to have the feels once in a while

For the first time since I starting playing Madden games about 20 years ago, I can say I never began playing this year’s version to begin with. It’s a shame, but it’s just not worth it.
