I know what your saying... obviously the Yanks aren't going anywhere unless they have the will to win on their own... but sometimes something like this can just give them a little extra.

Just out of curiosity, where did this quote come from? I havn't seen it in any of the Boston papers and don't remember hearing it on WEEI last week, although I missed part of his appearance.

I found this on a board where a guy found it on another board who said he copied it from a newspaper in NJ.


Right now I'm wondering if it was even said because if he said something like this the NY media would be eating it up.

That's what I was thinking. Schilling hasn't been talking to the media at all lately. He does his weekly appearance on WEEI and that's about it. Usually the Boston Herald and some of the NY papers jump all over this stuff. Oh well.
