I'm holding out hope that when Gerut returns he learned from his struggles last year and kick starts this O... Jake is so hard to figure out 2 complete games and then a couple bad one's... I really do think we need to bring Tallet up if he's doing that well, as well as Garko, the kid has done nothing but hit, hit, hit give him a chance!

I just saw this stat and thought I'd share it. The Indians have hit 34 homeruns this year; 32 of those are solo HRs.

That's just remarkable. It's like they don't want to hit with runners on base.

Either that or they just can't get anyone on base. I am disgusted with this team this year. And, you know what, they're not that young! Being young is no longer an excuse for this team. They just can't handle the expectations

Jake pitched so well today till the 9th... I'm just depressed with this season.

I understand the disappointment, but I just can't be depressed 40 games into the season, especially after that run we made last year, I just can't, everybody will not hit this bad the whole season.

Any reason why Martinez has been slumping so much? He's on my fantasy team and hasn't done jack.

No clue on why V-MART isn't hitting, he'll come around.... RahKhem it's not so much that I think the season is a wash, I really don't.... we have won 3 out of our last 5 series today would have made 4 out of 5, it's just I thought for sure we would put it together this year and I still think we can, I'm just down with all that has happened so far. Gerut glad to have you back... now swing on a pitch down the middle of the plate with 2 strikes, 2 outs bottom of the ninth!!!!! Ok, let's win the next series and move on from there.... once we get to .500 I think we'll be fine.

If there's one thing I've noticed this year it's that this is one of the dumbest teams I have ever seen. It's like they don't know how to play the game of baseball. They constantly take hittable pitches then go lunging at crap outside off the plate. They run themselves into outs time and time again. Don't execute the simple stuff (i.e. sac bunt and fly).

And Victor has to be taken down in the lineup. He should be batting no higher than 6th right now.
