Re: Official Cleveland Indians Thread

Well, this is what happens when the pitcher realizes his offense can't produce enough runs for him:

Congrats to CC Sabathia on his first MLB HR!

Re: Official Cleveland Indians Thread

These next 13 games could make or break the season. 10 of them are against Minnesota and Chicago. The Tribe will either make up some ground in the Central or fall back even further.

Time to see what this team is made of.

Nice to see the Tribe sweep Oakland out of town. Important games coming up in Minnesota and then in Chicago. Finally the hitting is starting to come around. Is it a coincidence that it happened when Jody returned?

Re: Official Cleveland Indians Thread

Gee, if only we had a 3B that could hit. Boone is doing horrible, Blake is doing below average, as is Hernandez. Would someone like to step up?

Re: Official Cleveland Indians Thread

Boone really couldn't be doing any worse. And not only is he not hitting, he's been playing horrid defense. I know Casey made 26 errors at 3B last year but Boone was supposed to be a significant upgrade on the defensive side. At least he's being booed now. Maybe he, Wedge and Shapiro will get the message.

Thank God Victor finally (maybe) broke out of his slump from the left side of the plate with a double and a HR today. Seems like he's been hitting the ball more solidly lately now they just need to start falling in for hits.

Re: Official Cleveland Indians Thread

I don't think the solution is to boo boone he's really pressing right now to do well, you know he's probably only got a couple weeks to go before he gets the hook, I'm guessing when Juan and Coco can go Boone and Ludwick get the gate and we put Casey back at third. Well 1 game under .500 now, lets hope it won't be like last year where we would get close but lose a couple in a row.

I'm definitely liking how this team is still fighting and clawing right now, even with the anemic offense. Once summer hits, if those bats start to heat up, we can start making our push.
