Remember how long it took this team to get to .500 last year? They weren't playing this well until mid-August last year. I know they can keep this up, too. The hitting still needs to improve (4 GIDPs tonight) but Victor definitely seems to be turning it around and Wedge finally dropped him down in the order.

It would be great if Millwood can come back with no trouble. He's been our most consistent starter this year. It's nice to have a rotation of Sabathia, Lee, Westbrook, Millwood.....and Elarton. You can actually look at upcoming series and say, "okay, they should take 2 of 3 here."

Hopefully Tallet pitches lights out and maybe earns his way on to this team... Even after Millwood comes back... If that means Elarton has to go, well I won't cry over it.

This is looking eerily familiar to last year (without the hitting). They get to .500 then tank and fall below that mark. Now it will take them about two weeks to get back to even.

And thank God a move was finally made. Eddie Murray is out as hitting coach. And Shapiro really needs to start considering releasing Boone. He's worthless to this team and hitting .160 in June is just terrible. By far the worst hitter in the majors right now.

its about time they did something i`m not a real big fan of wedge i wouldnt be upset if they got rid of him next. i know boone is not hitting and everyone wants him gone but if you get rid of him you might as well move casey blake to he really has not done anything either.

well Boone has picked up the last few games.... I love this team but we gotta win now if we are gonna have a shot at anything this year... if not trade Wickman and either boone or casey for an up and comer at third... maybe we give wickman and boone to the braves for Andy Marte???
