Re: Official Cleveland Indians Thread

his new born son had a very big medical problem, I forgot exactly what it was but it weighed on Riske all year, in fact once his kid was in clear Riske had a great end to the year. Sadly the timing of the incident killed Riske at closer, now that his son is healthy we are seeing the Riske we all thought we had last year.

Oh yeah, I remember that. I had completely forgotten about it though. He definitely turned things around later in the year. Here's to hoping he (and the rest of the 'pen) have good years.

Let's hope they can bring out the brooms tomorrow. As you said yesterday, 5 runs a game should be more than enough about 60% of the time.

And that's two consecutive great outings from Cliff. I hope he can return to his first half form from last year for all of this year.

I hate the Westcoast games. I can never remember that they're on, so I always miss them. But, good win again by the Tribe tonight.

Westbrook again gets pounded by the Tigers. Right now this Indians team just does not look ready to win.

Oh yeah, they signed C.C. to a 2yr/$17.75 million extension. That's about the only decent news coming out of Indians camp.

It is looking a bit bleek right now. But I will not worry too much just yet, it isn't even May yet.

Re: Official Cleveland Indians Thread

Well, May's rolled around and we still suck. This offense is doing nothing although it is nice to see Pronk hitting the ball and his constantly rising OPS.

Elarton should be let go and Tallet should be brought up. I think he has a 2.13 ERA in Buffalo.
