Watching the postgame... poor Tito. Can't be easy holding it together at a time like this.

Also announced, Schill is being scratched from his next start.

I missed it...caught it when the guys in the studio were recapping. I think I heard "discomfort", but I'm not sure what it was about.

Read on SoSH that it's a strained lat (level 1). He'll miss his next start and hopefully that'll be it.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Papelbon said that they expect him to be at spring training with the team next year so that is good. I wish him and his family the best though because no one should have to go through that at such a young age.

Papelbon can be anywhere from a sore/tired shoulder to a tonr rotator cuff... Nobody knows at this point.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

I say they give him a week off even if it is alright. He is just to valuable to are future and we don't need him anymore this season really. So if it's serious I say we just shut him down for the season and see how Hansen does in the actual closer role.

Does anyone know who they're briging up for the 40 man roster? I hope they bring up Ellsbury, it would be fun to watch him. He's going to participate in the Arizona Fall League this fall to so they should help him progress playing against good competition. And Clay Buchholz was the Carolina League pitcher of the week the 21-27 going 2-0 1.13 era, 23 K, 4 BB. I think he got just called up to Wilmington a few weeks ago to so he looks like he is doing pretty good. He looks to be our top pitching prospect not counting Hansen.
