Don't know if anyone saw the article about the Braves pitcher's reporting for conditioning camp, but it mentioned that AJ showed up early and 20 pounds lighter. If this is true, I expect a monster year from him as he has let himself get a little out of shape the last 3-4 years.

Andruw Jones? Obviously he's gonna come into this season in great shape knowing this is the biggest year of his whole enitre career, No matter what he's done before and after if he can hit .300, 45 Hrs and 115 Rbi's to go with A Gold glove hello 7-8 years 150 million plus....and Bye Bye Atlanta

if thats the case ^ at least we get one good year out of him. Because i bet after he gets his new deal he goes back to the out of shape low batting average ways, and his defense will only worsen with age. and i really like andruw

I just have a feeling Andruw is going to stay a Brave. I don't know why, and it defies all logic, but that's just the feeling I get.

I love AJ. I hope to god he stays with Atlanta, but I also know that if he has a monster year, the money may be too much for us to handle.

I like Andruw and I think the Braves should make every effort to keep him but I personally would like to see John Smoltz finish his career with the Braves because he also becomes a free agent at the end of this year. He has been the face of the Braves organization for his entire career and after everything he has done for the Braves and the whole Atlanta community I cannot believe the Braves are actually thinking of letting him go. In my opinion it would be a sad day in baseball if Smoltz took the mound without a Braves uniform on.
