It's still a wish of mine. Anything is better than what we have right now. How about incorporating Spotify or Music Unlimited for walkups?

Understanding that The Show hasn't always had great online stability, I also think that it would be great to add online RTTS like EA does with the NHL series. The big difference would be having more people in one game at once. You could have it set up for quick counts as an option if you'd like that way the team at bat doesn't have to sit forever. Relievers could be CPU players or give the option for two or three relievers slots per team. Just think it'd be great to have a bunch of RTTS players playing as one team.

From my strictly offline single player perspective:

1. The ability to toggle off every visual indicator and/or icon (i.e. runner diamond, defensive shift notification, blue player icon when using manual fielding, XP notification in top left of screen, etc...)

2. A "Baseball Purist" gameplay option (i.e. slow play, fouls into stands shown, no cutscenes /all real-time with camera angles (but X can be used to speed up things if desired)

3. Improved collision detection...wherever it's needed:
(i.e. player tags, player interactions, fans and their associated environments (i.e. walls, ground (when reaching for foul balls / the baseball when catching fouls/HRs)

My top three would be:

1. Get rid of the "double cutoff". True, there are double cutoffs in the game but they are not standing right behind each other, so unrealistic.

2. Dynamic or accurate weather with rainouts/delays. The rain in games this year is very poorly done.

3. Customizable leagues/divisions.

Here's a couple smaller visual detail suggestions:

1. Uniforms that react to wind
2. Make the batter boxes get more worn ( the white outline part mostly )

To elaborate on 2, when I play road to the show mode on classic mode, the field looks almost untouched in the mid innings most of the time. Maybe the developers could implement a basic method to scuff up the dirt on the field and batter boxes as the game is being simulated.. I know that wouldn't be very difficult to implement and it would do a lot for realism and immersion in that mode.

Another thing that needs to be added that I thought would have already:


More realistic fatigue for players. Star players shouldn't be needing a rest every 4-5 games. Even every day average players shouldn't.

A guy would die if he played 15-20 games straight. lol
