good job Pared, I tried your sliders and I'm pretty pleased so far. The only thing I ajusted was CPU pitcher ball rate. Intead of -8 I went to -15. that way there is more ball from the cpu. The only thing is stop whiffing at them

Is it just me or is the CPU outfielder still too damn fast? Otherwise, the game plays great thanks to these sliders!!

Re: Pared's MVP 2005 Gameplay Sliders

I straight up suck at hitting. I haven't got more than 1 run in any of my games. I just lost my first time Colorado. 4-1. Zito hung a curve in the 6th for a preston wilson bomb. I did strike out 8 but didn't walk any. I forgot to turn pitch cursor from fade to off though, that will probably help. I feel this game will be great though. I am playing teams 1 starters so that is probably contributing a lot to my hitting whoas.

Just played a game with my RedSox taking on the Yanks at Fenway. Schill versus Pavano. I won it 4-3 in the bottom of the 10th, with Billy Mueller knocking in pinch runner Jay Payton for the win.

Schill goes 7 innings...7 hits..3 runs...8K's
Embree 1 inning 2k's no hits
Foulke 1 inning 2 k's no hits

Pared..what a job!!

Re: Pared's MVP 2005 Gameplay Sliders

I am having trouble pitching using Pared's sliders. I have the strike zone off, and the hot/cold zone and pitch curser on fade. Even if I get perfect they are hitting it. I am painting the corner, using different speeds, throwing some balls but nothing is working. I don't know what I should do. I am thinking of going back to pro. This isn't fun anymore. I can't get hits either. Last year I played on MVP and did great.

Does anyone got any tips?

Where do you see how many pitches your pitcher has thrown?

Pause the game and look to the right of ERA on the blue bar near the middle of the screen. It'll say THR and the number of pitches that pitcher has thrown.
