This is false.

I have an early MyCareer and I switched off of generic shoes. You just have to set it up out of MyCareer and equip them on your guy for in game wear. Then you'll have them on in game, I can't really give you the exact way to do it from work but it can be done because I did it.

When I get home I'll look at it to refresh my memory on how I did it and get back to you, but it definitely can be done and you don't need to start over.

it's been about 10 games after the all-star break. I'm on the Lakers (was traded to them somehow). I've been the Sixth Man for a while. Now i'm getting a lot of cut scenes alluding to me starting soon.

But then I got a cut scene with Kobe, where he's saying that I'll be replacing him in the starting line up soon. How could this possibly be true? I'm a 6'-7" SG. And I typically play a lot of SG and SF. But, why wouldn't I replace Wesley Johnson in the starting lineup? Johnson is currently the starting SF. or why not Kobe move to the 3, while I play the 2?

seems kinda weird and unrealistic.

I've noticed that late in games, i've been finishing games out while Kobe sits on the bench. this seems really odd too.

anyone else playing or has played My Career on the Lakers? Does Kobe seriously get benched to be the sixth man for the team?

Doesn't matter how tall you are, position battles depend on two things; overall rating and how good you play during games with the latter being more important than the former. Though what I think will happen is that Kobe will start at SF and you will take over at SG. When I got traded to the Knicks in my first season, my SF was a 93 overall compared to Melo's 92. Once I got named a starter, they moved Melo to PF and played me at the SF position.

i have one career with the big agent i started another career that i plan to stay with the friend agent. I'm still trying to get my SG with the friend agent a starter. ive been stuck on 6th man forever. like 15 games at 28 min. im a SG with the pistons. Move over Stuckey

You become a starter around 25-32 games
