Now the AI is what it is. The smartest the AI can be without getting boosts is all star sim. That's where it is at the moment. If you want to make it harder without the Ai getting boosts then you can still lower your sliders.

I'am expecting the AI to make a big jump for 2K16. Sure if you focus on all the things that are wrong and go in replay mode to review 10 times the ball morph through the hand you're not gonna enjoy yourself but the AI was never that good. What was frustrating to me previous years is seeing all theses legacy issues without knowing if they were ever gonna be taken care of. Now with the addition of czar, beds, OG I can finally sit and relax and everytime something bad happens I hear czar voice in my head... "It's a process fam " and I move on.
Sliders should only be used to alter the speed of the game. In my opinion sliders were the worst thing to happen to sports game that are supposed to come as close as possible to real life. A person's slider sets are subjective. The game should be simulating real basketball out of the box with difficulty levels only changing smarter decision making and strategy of the CPU. If I run a floppy play on offense my off-ball screens should be just as effective getting shooters open as the CPU, but for years on 2K that has not been the case even when using the same team as the CPU because of cheese. We shouldn't need sliders to play more realistic in a game based on "real" basketball. If anything sliders should be in place to make the game more arcade like or alter speed as I said before.

A lot of taunting,a bit of arrogance and a lot of scolding (reading the OP i thought i was going to be spanked)in the thread...Wouldnt it be better if this thread was full of helpful advices given in a nice polite manner ?

Saying that, I personally accept to be called a "scrub" because Im actually one. I lose most of the times on superstar/sim. But one of my biggest issues with the game is how easy it is to zig zag and go for hyper dunks with players like Derozan. And screen plays seem a bit over powered (more evident with euroleague teams),had 14 dunks in a game using the same play, cant say it didnt disappoint me.

Also, illegal screens from the cpu are countless(again, this is more evident when playing with euro teams) I thought the update would fix this.

Finally,is the points in the paint issue. I hope if I improve my defense I would be able to deal with it....but watched a game between two cpu teams and the amount of PitP they scored against each other isnt an encouraging sign.

Offensive rebounding isnt an issue for me. It has to do with which team you are and who you playing against.

So yes, there are some issues that prevent me from fully enjoying the great work DaCzar did with the offensive ai,the depth of my league mode and other improvements.

I play on HOF/SIM with no slider tweaks and always have. Maybe that's why you aren't seeing it. Try that out and come back to me haha I have no problem losing because of real basketball events, but video game only events that effect real successful basketball decisions are unacceptable year after year. Such as shots changing just so the CPU can block it, or being ahead of the CPU on the break and putting your body between them and the basket only to have the CPU warp in front of you. That strategy on the fastbreak is a real basketball strategy that isn't effective because of cheese more often than not.

Every game has exploits. Its up to you to stop using them. If you see that zig zagging works, either increase the CPU's defensive sliders or stop zig zagging and play like a realistic basketball team would.

Derozan and others do too many hyper dunks....lower the dunking, vertical and dunks and traffic frequency.

Points in the paint are solved again by sliders. Lower the CPU's inside shot tendancy sliders and increase their mid range tendency sliders. If you have trouble keeping them out of the paint increase the defensive contact sliders and your onball defense sliders.

You probably should also avoid Superstar since its clear you have a number of issues with playing against the AI.

I think it's funny that everyone around here cries SIM when the game is developing. Then when a SIM game is released no one knows how to adapt. SS/Sim on 2k15 is a great foundation for future iterations for authentic gameplay, that's all.
I guess we'll have to agree to agree. And you know what? As a lot others have said, just by lowering the difficulty does away with most of the complaints, so they delivered BOTH experiences in one. I still think there's some changes to be made, but none that compromise the actual structure of the game which FINALLY after all these years is based on real professional basketball.

Nah. See I'm getting realistic results at All-Star with slider tweaks. I'm happy with the game. Maybe you should lower the difficulty. I've played at All-Star for years and never see cheese.

Re: I think PRIDE is ruining this game for some people

I actually don't mind being a "scrub" when it comes to 2K15. There is a steep learning curve when you combine all the advanced controls and amount of strategy 2K allows the user to have access to.

Heck, I have no problem playing on Pro difficulty. If that's where I need to be to enjoy the game and compete, than that's the difficulty I need to be at.

If anything it forces me to spend more time learning and practicing and less time tweaking sliders because I am cruising to victory of the CPU.

Money well spent if you ask me.

See that's exactly what this thread is about. People that refuses to lower the difficulty in the name of pride.

That's where we are right now as far as AI go. Yeah obviously we all would love to get a mode where the AI just plays great basketball without needing attributes boost but we're not there yet.

You have the tools to tune your experience but instead of using them you rather complain that you see cheese. HOF is cheese, nobody is claiming otherwise. People who play that mode should expect to see cheese happen.
