Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread

Got drafted 7th overall to the Kings(All-Around PG) and had been getting a decent amount of minutes and averaging about 15 points and 5 assists per game. We're playing the Grizzlies and Tyreke is out and for some reason they start Thornton at the point(which is where he has been playing) and Salmons at the 2 instead of me at the point and Thornton at the 2?? Anyway we were losing most of the game until I bring us storming back to take it to OT where we win by 4. My stat line was 54 points(22 of 24fg, 2-3 from 3, 8-8 FT) 4 boards, 5 assists, 5 steals, and a block. Wish I would have had a few more dimes, but I'm not great at this game and make some bad passes, but I got a new billboard. Best and closest game I've had on my player and couldn't be more excited!

I'm sure this has been talked about, but in my player mode I have guys on my team in my first season who I've never heard of and they are compete badasses. Is this a problem for anyone else?

Along with getting assists, getting dunks is also a problem for me. On wide open fast breaks my guy goes so slow then when I try to go up for the dunk he stops and does something stupid then it's all over. UGH so FRUSTRATING!

That really hurts. Main reason we lost so many of our first games. I was playing chump minutes and I'd get us up, they'd take me out. Come back in the 4th with like 3 minutes and 10-15 down -_- Impossible for a Center to take complete control of the game.

Especially with the incomprehensible AI passing, or lack thereof.

I'm kind of cheesing, my C is 7'5", but I really do stink at anything other than Madden, so I feel it's appropriate <.< Im only avg'ing 10 boards a game, and at my height, I should be getting twice that.

Are you just getting role minutes right now?
