I can't tell if that's a legitimate, unironic take or an impersonation of a certain someone's Twitter style...

Anyway, I guess I'm good with it. I never expected Bud, once people drew the line in the sand with him or the highway I knew we wouldn't get him. He's not Mark Jackson, so there's that.

Apparently he's already planning to head out to Latvia to meet with KP. Cool.

It's a little strange to me that the main reason they gave for firing Hornacek is that he couldn't relate to todays players, and then they hired a guy who got fired from his last job for not getting along with his best player.

Also feels a little like last time when everyone was so worried it was going to be Rambis that people were happy with Horny even though there were better options. Being thorough is one thing but if they gave serious consideration to some of the guys we interviewed thats scary.

He's the guy though, and its a nice situation for a younger coach to get next year to grow when there's no expectations

Marc Gasol is the only player he didn't get along with. Every other player who's played for him speaks very highly of him, as does Spo.

I'm pretty indifferent. I'm glad that Rambis is gone and that Fizdale is pretty well regarded around the league. At least he'll be better than Horny and Fisher.

Why do I get the feeling Knicks brass did this thinking they'll have a better shot at LeBron James?

Possible reason 1: You've read Isola's article about how the Knicks going after Fizdale is an attempt at LeBron.

Possible reason 2:You are Frank Isola.

Possible reason 3: Knicks fans enjoy making bad news out of any news.
