Wide Receivers 2012
There are many different types of WRs that make up the landscape of College Football.
- There are tall physical WRs (Blackmon, Jeffery, Floyd, Childs, Criner, etc) who manhandle any kind of press coverage and out muscle the jump ball when it is in the in the air.
- There are the quick as lightning jitterbugs (Broyles, Rodgers) who find holes in the coverage and slice through turning screens into big yardage.
- Then there are the WRs who are just productive (Moe). They run crisp routes, know where they are suppose to be, and do the most important thing a WR can do; catch the ball.
Justin Blackmon
Oklahoma State Cowboys
- Blackmon is not a burner, or someone who is going to trick you with savvy route running. He is going to run downhill and grab the ball at it's highest point and glide to the endzone.

Alshon Jeffery
South Carolina Gamecocks
- Jeffery has the frame of a TE, but is more than fluid enough to be a dominant WR. He uses his size to shield himself from the defender, and given room he can get top end speed.

Ryan Broyles
Oklahoma Sooners
- I gotta give to EA on Broyles. He is pretty much exactly how I had him rated in NCAA 11. Broyles makes his living sitting down in zones and beating coverage to the inside.

Michael Floyd
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
- Like Blackmon, Floyd knows how to sky in the air and come down with the ball. He is pretty much a lock for six in the redzone,
