Glad it's over.

As I said in the Madden forum, interesting to see if

he has any guess left in the tank after saying he was 90%

retired.

Wish him well, but it was time to move on.

Maybe he does great things with the Jets D and the young guns on offense.

Apparently Namath gave his blessing, but Rodgers chose to go with #8

I’m surprised the only condition for the 1st is playing 65% of the snaps. I figured the Jets would want protection against him retiring after just one season

I strongly suspect that was the hold-up all along. It wouldn't even surprise me if it was stuck on Jets want him to play 80% and Packers want him to play 50% and they split the difference.
