The Vick drafting made since because Chandler and company just were not cutting it. But vick did not come out as a pocket passer so what were they expecting.

Cin has Cory Dillon so pass but did take Rudi in the 4th. So not bad. Consider this though their 21st ranked defense is bad just not as bad as the 30th ranked offense

Cle, I am confused as to why they did not take LT. There leading rusher Travis Prentice averaged 3.0 ypc. That is terrible, but they did take James Jackson in the 3rd. I cannot remember if Davis was the coach yet? I assume he was though. So he took a guy from the U. Then again in 00 their defense was terrible, ranked 28th but their offense was ranked 31st. That was last then.

Ari had Jones and Pittman. Jones ran for 300 and Pittman for 700. Both had ypc under 4. But consider this Jones was taken in the 1st round in 2000. So while Jones had shown nothing really they were waiting for him to burst. They did need help on the line but tell me I havent heard that one from this team before.

Only real one I can see a big time problem with is Cle.

Thats some good points... Honestly as good as LT has been they still havent done enough yet to say its similar to the Micheal Jordan Same Bowie situation. Honestly though its unlikely they could get bounced in thier first playoff game.

One player can effect the game much more in basketball than one can in football. The only position that would be even remotely in the same galaxy would be the QB.

It's out of respect for one of the best players of all time.

And LDT is not the best player in the game today, he's having the best season. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are still better.

Being wrong fits you though.

When LDT wins 2 MVP awards or two Super Bowl MVP awards, maybe you'll have an argument.

Best player in the game? LT.

Most important to their team? Manning and Brady. If either of those two went down, the Pats and Colts are ****ed. The Charges have a very, very good backup RB, and wouldn't be completely dead.

Re: Where's the scrutiny? (LT)

As a Cardinals fan I feel like crying. They also passed on Larry Johnson a few years back when they had 2 first round picks and wasted a mid first round pick on Bryant Johnson instead of LJ. Having LT would be sick, but knowing the cardinals, he wouldn't have nearly as good a team or o-line as he has in San Diego.
