Those all sound great. Glad to see attention being given to passing and defense.

Why do you guys keep doing this to yourselves? PS3 & 360 only means that the PC version is left out. It implies nothing for next gen.

I just hope that collision detection around the basket is improved.
Getting garbage buckets in the paint has been way, way too easy for years!

I can't wait for the gameplay improvements, especially the new playbook settings and the defensive AI system. It looks like 2k has doing much better works this year to bring more features to us. It is nice that we can see in the early August. Hope they can still bring more updates and upload some video clips to explain what kind of gameplay improvement has been came out!

Just wanted to point out... This is by no means an exhaustive list of features. There are a number of other improvements, like contact in the paint, that we left off the list. So don't assume that if it's not listed, it's not in the game. That's all I wanted to say. Carry on.

2k add this, 2k add that, then it don't matter cause they make 3s like freethrows or a spin move cheese that mess up everything.

One word was missing from these updates that must be addressed. It starts with re and ends with BOUND! I know my guy Beluba put some time on the boards! Right? Lol

Dude, stop it. They are obviously proud of the work they've put into this year's title and they've addressed many issues we had with 2K13. The game will always, read that, always have issues that are exploitable. Just have to realize that its a game, that individuals have put hard work into, and enjoy it against similar minded (sim-heads) people or the CPU.

No need to always whine and complain while showing a total lack of gratefulness. If the game isn't for you then try the competition or play nothing at all.

Yeah, I'm hoping that part of the code was looked at and we'll see a return to more balanced rebounding. I'm also hoping that we'll see a separation in rebounding ability amongst players like in 2K8 -2K11.

There are some very exciting features/improvements listed. I am looking forward to hearing all the details because the devil will be in the details with everything listed.

The "learning" ai is intriguing, and if implemented well, this can be a "game-changer" for all the offline players looking for a more realistic experience.

One thing left off the list that will have substantial impact on the expected ai on-the-court improvements is improvements to the rotation and substitution ai for the games. If the latter is not improved at the same time, I'm worried at just how much an improved ai can handle the flawed floor given in the first place.

Really intrigued by this, too. I've been wanting the AI to play intelligently against me-- not just throw constant double teams against a hot player, but actually play tight on my shooters if they're hitting or if I tend to take a lot of jumpers, sag off a little and prevent the drive if I'm in a cold jumpshooting funk, and be ready with the help D if I drive a lot with certain players.

I think the AI should also scout your team's players and their tendencies and gameplan against you ahead of time. For example, Steph Curry should *never* be given airspace with tight defense right from tipoff. Then the Adaptive AI can kick in based on how the game flows.

This is great news. Improved paint contact, improved ball handling, and a competent adaptive AI would have been enough for me to re-up for 2K14.

It will also be an automatic buy whatever year foot planting is significantly improved. Well, it's an automatic buy every year, but you never heard that from me.

It can end up that the "improved" ai part is just a better selection of which animation plays out on drives etc. I am hoping awareness, player tacking and other such details are what they are improving.

Something that definitely will happen on nextgen but may not be feasible on the current gen and pc release this year.

I am not happy no improvements to association like seriously that thing is no where near real. Why do i need signature skills to finish layups block shots set hard screens steall the ball posterize and rebound all that should come down to the players skill and attributes this happens. Another thing is why cant i use backboard on every shot that i take i should be allowed every time i shoot i also would like to make reverse layups. Does length height and weight matter this year or does everybody look the same again. Oh another thing when people get crossed over every person in ghe crowd should go ohhh no no matter what. Get rid of season mode and team up nobody plays it its not needed add addidas live run like live did doesnt have to be the same name or anything but trust me when i say every body will play it. Sneakers we need way more nobody weras the same ones every game we should be able to add and remove 3 sneakers to every player nobody plays in 2k kicks get rid of them. Stop lying about signature dribbles jumpshots and dunks just stop trying you will never get them correct unless yoru take out the time to have every active player in the league do the motion thing you guys do. Yea and why bring back crew justto put it on blacktop

I really hope it doesn't involve rubberbanding and attribute boosts.

At the very least it should intelligently select Tight/Sag/Deny settings, Pick and Roll settings, and choose appropriate defensive formations or switch between them to give you different looks.

Oh, and the AI really needs to intelligently switch matchups. That would be brilliant. Better defenders/matchups should be brought in to counter the best/hottest player. Again, using Curry as an example (he's plays like a video game character), I want to see teams throw their Iguodalas, Corey Brewers, Danny Greens, and Kawhi Leonards at him after realizing Lawson/Miller/Parker can't stop him.

This would be huge! It gets a little silly hitting 6-9 3's every game without the CPU making adjustments that happen in the real world.

Quite pleased with some of the list.

Dribbling enhancements and more moves is a welcome addition. More signature moves and better shot mechanics. More dunk packages. More options on D.

Yeah, I'm interested.

Now....about MJ and the legends teams.....

Now that tendencies and ratings are going to be updated regularly what about accessory wise?
