Nice! Gonna be fun to play with young STAT and Joe Joe. I used to LOVE Antoine Walker in the old Live's and 2K's. He was money! I can't wait to ball out with him again. J Williams should be blast, too. I'm gonna guess that the next two teams are the 04 TWolves and one of Kidd's Nets squads.

3.74 Lakers* - ADDED 2K16
3.64 Sixers** - ADDED 2K13

2002
7.61 Kings - Lacking rights to Chris Webber

6.68 Kings - Lacking rights to Chris Webber
5.65 Spurs*
4.42 Nets**

2004
7.51 Spurs - Redundant
5.04 Pistons* - ADDED 2K16
4.35 Lakers** - Semi-Redundant

2005
7.84 Spurs*
7.08 Suns - ADDED 2K16
3.31 Pistons** - Redundant

2006
6.69 Spurs - Redundant
6.24 Pistons - Redundant
5.96 Mavericks**
3.59 Heat* - ADDED 2K16

2007
8.35 Spurs*
7.28 Mavericks
3.33 Cavaliers**

2008
9.30 Celtics* - ADDED 2K16
6.67 Pistons (Redundant)
7.34 Lakers**
6.86 Jazz

2009
8.68 Cavaliers
7.44 Celtics (Redundant)
7.11 Lakers*
6.48 Magic**

2010
7.12 Magic (Redundant)
6.17 Cavaliers (Redundant)
4.78 Lakers* (Redundant)
3.37 Celtics** (Redundant)

2011
6.76 Heat** (Redundant)
6.53 Bulls
6.01 Lakers (Redundant)
4.41 Mavericks*

2012
7.43 Bulls (Redundant)
7.28 Spurs (Redundant)
6.44 Thunder**
5.72 Heat* (Redundant)

2013
9.15 Thunder
7.03 Heat* - ADDED 2K16
6.67 Spurs** (Redundant)
6.43 Clippers (Redundant to current team)

2014
8.00 Spurs*
7.27 Clippers (Redundant to current team)
6.66 Thunder (Redundant to current team)
4.15 Heat** (Redundant)

Additional Popular Teams
2000 Raptors - ADDED 2K16 (Vince & TMac)
2004 Wolves (KG/MIN's only prime run)
2005 Sonics (Prime Ray/Shard, last good Sonics team)
2007 Warriors (8th seed took down 67-win Mavs w/ new-age small-ball)
2008 Rockets - ADDED 2K16 (Yao & TMac)
2009 Nuggets (Melo/DEN's only prime run)

The Spurs were the team of the 2000s and it seems highly likely they get a team (either 2005 or 2007 which offers a prime big three in the absence of David Robinson).

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the 2009 or 2010 Lakers are the final classic team, given the precedent set by the 2013 Heat's inclusion. If fans want to play w/ LeBron and the Big 3 on the Heat you can bet they want to play w/ prime Kobe and his championship supporting cast.

The 2011 Mavericks, 2008 Jazz, 2003 Nets, and any Cavs team would all be less exciting options.

Very well thought out and posted. However won't it be one Eastern Conference team and one Western Conference team. So it will be either Spurs or Lakers for Western Conference team and either 2007 or 2009 Cavaliers, or 2003 Nets.

I like how people say "prime LeBron." Dude's still in his prime, and I don't know about you guys but I'd much rather have the Nets, Spurs, Wolves, 92-93 Suns or 90's Pacers over a single LeBron team. Just my two cents.

Serious question, outside of Miller and Barkley what reason is there for either the Suns or Pacer's? Because Miller and Barkley don't want to be in the game. Barkley hates the way the NBA treats it's retired players.

I think they mean world destroyer prime LeBron and not still great but exiting prime LeBron.

How many does that leave? Really really hoping for that Wolves squad.

These are great additions, though.

That is exactly my point. 2007 LeBron single handedly carried a hopelessly out manned Cavaliers team past the much better Detroit Pistons to the NBA Finals. 2009 LeBron was the MVP and he was at his most dominant in terms of athleticism as well as physique. I mean look at this

This was his physical peak.

# 90 DEFAULTCAMERA @ 09/02/15 08:42 PM
Give me 98-99 Knicks got to show Sprewell and Houston some love. Also would like 97-98 Wolves need that Marbury to KG connection.

Also hoping they have the darker red/burgandy away heat jerseys as well as the NBA logo on the opposite side of the jersey

Hahaha I'm hoping for that type of detail also, but I would be happy with a full roster and accurate player likeness....Please have Jason Williams with tats and high jumping shot sig and handles

How crazy would it be if the last two teams were the '00 Pacers and the '93 Suns

# 93 The 24th Letter @ 09/02/15 08:45 PM
Is Shawn Marion still in the game in any way? I want to create one of those later Suns teams too...

So my predictions are:
03 Spurs
11 Mavs

However my wild card picks instead of the 11 Mavs are the 00 Pacers(with or without Reggie) or 03 Nets.
I think you are correct.....I would buy 2 of these games if they got the 93 suns (with MVP Barkley) and 98 or 00 Pacers (only team that should have beat the bulls)

That 93 Suns team and the 98 or 00 Pacers teams are the two most wanted classic teams. People will be extatic if those teams were included. Yeah the 98 Pacers took the Bulls to game 7 and were in the lead for most of the game iirc but glad the Bulls prevailed.

This is going to be the best classic team roster in history. I just hope that there is an online mode where we can actually use these teams online against other people.
