NBA 2K - Georgiafan's 3 year realistic rebuilds / remasters

Game 1 was a full sim so I didn't play any of it. I don't have a strict system, but In general I'll play 2 full games and jump in around 2 times during the series.

Bias could be the key as he is going up against Bertans and he should win that matchup. San Antiono doesn't have much shooting, so they need him at the 4 and everyone else can defend.

I'll have a lot of updates today as its kinda slow at work so stay tuned. hopefully up to game 4

Round 1 - Game 2
Which Roleplayer will step up ?

We pick things up with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd with Indiana up 5 points. Brown picked up his 5th foul just 1 minute later. He would foul out before the 3rd quarter ended on a silly reach in foul. This was huge as he had scored 30 on 11 of 15 shooting. With 8 minutes to go Tatum's 3 cut the lead to 1. They leave Rubio wide open on purpose with 3 minutes remaining. He hit the 3 and now Boston had the lead.

T.J who was still starting at PG with Fox out. He scores a layup and Indiana is back up 1 with 2 minutes to go. Westbrook has T.J posted up and it looks like he is in position to score. So they bring the double team at the last minute. Westbrook finds the now open Smart after the double team. He misses the 3 and T.J grabs the rebound. So now its a 2 point lead for Indiana with just 22 seconds remaining. T.J hits both FT's to make it 4 points. He would then come up with a steal on the next possession to seal the game.

T.J was the MVP in this game and he is a player we haven't talked enough about. A pretty balance game on offense lead by Brogdon's 25. The rebounding matchup was won and a big game for Muresan. Boston could have won this game if Brown hadn't fouled out. Tatum came back to earth. Westbrook should be fully healthy for game 3.

Indiana feels great they split on the road and now Fox will come back for game 3. They did alll of this despite a bad game from Sabonis

Tatum Is Amazing

Boston wins this in a blowout and it was never close. Tatum was amazing 37 points and 9 rebounds on efficient shooting. Brown was great as the 2nd option adding 27. Westbrook took just 10 shoots and they and 5 others in double figures. As a team they shoot near 50% from 3. Fox and Sabonis both scored over 20 and Fox is back to 100% healthy. While Boston couldn't miss from 3 Indiana couldn't hit going just 3 of 20.

With 2 more games at home and down 2 to 1 Indiana needs to win atleast 1 more if not both.

The matchups in this first round have been very good so far. Lots of close series. Having two of your players foul out is rough. Going to need to limit the fouls.

Yea the series have been close with only 1 that was a sweep. It looks like I was correct with a few higher seeds that could advance. Yea somehow they shoot more 3's and FT's.

Must Win For Indiana

We pick things up with 9 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter and a 1-point game. Brogdon hits a layup and the lead for Indiana is now 8 with 3 minutes in the 3rd. In the 4th Fox caught fire just abusing Westbrook in isolation. A Durate corner 3 off a pick and roll made the lead 14 to make it a double digit lead. A Isaac putback slam with 2 minutes to go would be the highlight. Indiana had tied things up and this appears to be a series thats going 7 games.

This was a typical Indiana game nothing flashy and pull out a win. You saw fox with over 20 and then 6 others in double digits. They also won the rebounding game headlined by 19 from Sabonis. Tatum was held in check as they went to a double team in the 2nd half.

Round 1 - Game 5
Sometimes Its Just Your Night

Boston starts off scorching hot from 3 so much that Indiana has to try a 3-2 zone for the first time all year. That didn't work either and Boston ends the 1st quarter up 14 on 9 of 14 from 3. Its mid 2nd quarter and still Boston is shooting the lights out. The lead had been cut some with under a minute to play going into half time. Then Grant Williams gets a putback layup and Rubio hit a buzzer beater 3. A huge 5-point swing to end the half. Three minutes into the half the score is now 93 to 67. A stepback Brown 3 happens and Indiana waves the white flag.

Boston just couldn't miss this game hitting over 50% from 3 on high volume when it counted. Brown and Tatum both were unbelievable tonight. Westbrook also gets some credit he isn't trying to take over the game and tonight had 17 assist. Giving up 144 points in a major playoff game is tough to see. Indiana is now down 3 to 2 and must win 2 in a row to advance to the 2nd round.
