Besides that, you're a slider addict, yes, I am too. Hello my name is Fist, and I suffer from Compulsive Slider Disorder. Come July while I'm testing sliders and reporting back on NCAA 09, you'll be driving around some Gorilla on a little clown car "screaming Weee this is fun" while trying to beat your girlfriend who is passing you as Princess Strawberry. Think about it.
Haha, well I'm 95% sure I will be marrying her but she's very chill, gives me space and let's me wear the pants in the relationship (not that she has a choice!). She doesn't mind that we spend 75% of our time w. my friends at my place. Of course that could all change once we move in together and who knows after marriage. But my main "getaway" always has been and always will be lifting and playing basketball.

But anyway, I think I've finally had my last straw with sports games. I busted out my old 64 last summer and I find myself playing No Mercy, Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, etc way more than 360 games. I have much more fun and am more entertained than I am w. sports games these days. Have a few cocktails and play a circuit on Mario Kart, there's honestly nothing I'd rather do in the video game world than that.

There are just too many headaches these days with sports games and I don't want to spend a majority of my time tweaking sliders and discovering work-arounds instead of playing an actual game. College Hoops is dead, I have no faith Madden or NCAA Football will ever be decent again, who knows what will happen between Take-Two and EA so baseball is equally as dangerous.

I gave this scenario some thought after CH2K was cancelled but decided to wait for baseball. MLB2K is fun and made strides, but as I said it's the only sports genre I really can't live without but I have MVP on the PC to get that fix. I also have my original Xbox and damn near every sports game from 2002-2006 for it.

I can almost guarantee my 360 will be on eBay by Friday.

I'm actually hoping I do! I hope by next summer every damn sports game on the market is getting a 9/10 from OS reviewers. Before that happens, nope...

A 9 outta 10, 90% rating. Aka each sport has a must-own game again.

Re: Thinking about selling my 360 and getting a Wii...

The Wii is fun, but I wouldn't want it as my only console...too many 360/PS3 games I'd miss out on. If you never play any of the awesome non-sports 360/PS3 games, well you're missing out.

I'd just save up for a Wii if I were you, but hope it works out either way!

At first I thought, are you crazy?!?! Then I realized that you still had the ole' reliable, fun Xbox 1, so you can still get your gaming fix and you have MVP on the PC. This may not be a bad decision in that case, since I spend half my gaming time playing my Xbox 1 even though I have a 360 as well.

I have a feeling you'll be buying another 360 soon, but maybe not, so we'll see.
