How do you still have runners cross the plate on a non home run play and not acknowledge the batter on deck with a simple high five! It's basic baseball interaction. But you have "Fly Overs"??? 10+ years of this game and nothing!

Not to mention the same running animations LOL

Out Of The Park Baseball allows this but they don't use actual likenesses for historic players. Even in their Perfect Team card collecting mode any player who is retired has generic graphics on their cards instead of their picture.
u can make generic players fully editable and every player does not need to be added sds allready has like 250 historic players the hardest part would be the full seasons roster of 98 04 and 86 which with the great rosters guys on this stie couild be done in a few mothers

do we see it not happen, or do we not see it happen, and just assume it doesn't?

          When you look at this

It just looks dead, as if this angle is from 5 hours before game time. Compare it to any of the 2k shots and it's not a comparison in terms of fans on the screen. The comparison gets worse when you start looking at the detail between the two and you see they are more similar than not, but we can at least maybe say the stream's quality makes it harder to see some of the detail in The Show's shots. Either way, it's a nice step forward, but not really executed well from what we've seen.

EDIT: I was able to upload a snip from the video. It's not even a fair comparison between the two, really.
          I think I know what's going on:
the Yankee Stadium shot is during the 3rd inning, and everybody worth their salt in a 10 block radius is either in their stadium seat, or parked in front of a tv with the game on.

the Angel Stadium shot was also taken during the 3rd inning and the reason the exterior is so crowded is because it's a well-known fact SoCal fans arrive at the ballpark during the 3rd inning

After yesterday’s stream, I’m excited to get back into it. Draft is a huge component and presentation looks promising.

Just bought a brand new LG C2 OLED tv…let’s see how it looks compared to my 2016 1080p Vizio!
I have same TV. You're gonna love it!

I like a lot of the stuff added. My only critique are the graphics. I felt like on the older gen consoles this game always looked better than the other sports games but that’s not the case on the next gen consoles.

Ok, I knew MiLb had done that but dumb me thought maybe Russell was meaning that we could realign teams. No such luck.

I wish the Home Run Overlays also displayed Solo, 2, 3 Run Home Run and Grand Slam on them instead of just saying Home Run when batters hit a home run with runners on base.

Other then that I LOVE the updated Home Run Overlays

This may be another small thing, but OOTP has BNN (Baseball News Network?). Instead of The Show Northwest, they should make a generic network, would be good for immersion.

That stream was awesome. I love to hear their passion and all the intricacies to the mode. You can really hear their excitement and it definitely rubbed off on me. Can’t wait to play this and, for the first time, do scouting.

That would be awesome. Could be as simple as TSN for The Show Network. Then they could do TSN Northwest, TSN Midwest.

TSN is already an actual sports network in Canada, so I don't think they could get away with that.

Something I noticed in the writeup was that the Draft was moved to the middle of the season rather than after it. As far back as I can remember the Draft was in June in the game. When did that change?

I believe what he was referring to is that they’ve fixed the divisions and playoff format. In MLB22 the IL still had the old 3-division, 4-team playoff format. In reality, the league has adopted two 10-team divisions with a single championship between leaders.

Show 22 had the June draft. so did 21, 20, 19 and every year prior. someone who doesnt follow baseball or play the Show must have wrote that up

EDIT: or maybe hopefully they mean your drafted players can immediately join your minor league system right away instead of after the season. that would be fantastic
