I just unlocked immortal Pujols. Also 4 wins and 20 strikeouts for diamond Greinke away from Gibson.

I'm on the final Snider missions and just need the diamond/gold stats and 1b exchange for Frank. Kinda thinking of just constantly restarting till I get stats, so I can just blast through games when going for Gibson/Nolan

I have about 30 or so hits left to get the diamond Snider, I have all the other stats for that mission done. Doing the last Greinke mission helped get a good chunk of Sabathia's gold/diamond stats done, so that makes getting to Ryan a little easier.

Not what I meant, I can see the confusion though when I read it back. When I said gaming community I did not mean forum or anything like that. I meant the people that actually play the game.

Totally agree. Some of the most vile messages I have ever received on PSN came from members of this “community” while playing online the last couple years.

Not Show related, but on the topic of toxic messages, one night playing Rocket League I had a guy on the other team tell me to "Get Cancer" after his team lost. Real nice.

Just to be clear, I'm someone who usually enjoys a good grind and I love the fact that I've been able to build a pretty awesome theme team without spending any money...but these new arc grinds are sucking away my life force. This morning I got Diamond Duke Snider and the first Diamond CC. Plus I finished the LF and RF missions for Belle that can only be done with Silver, Bronze or Common players.

While I'm happy I've knocked all that stuff out, I'm now looking at the next steps for the programs I want to finish and dreading them. 700 hits to get Belle, 500 Ks to get 92 Diamond CC, a hilarious number of saves, holds and Ks for Fingers and Nen. And I haven't even started Robbie Alomar.

I was all gung ho about doing six of the new arcs to nab 3 Indians players (Belle, CC, & Alomar) and 3 Immortals (Griffey, Wagner and Gossage). Now I'm not sure I've got it in me to do more than 3 or 4. This amount of playing the CPU is enough to drive a person insane.

Yea I'm going to Vegas for a week in a couple days so I'm ready to take a nice break from this game!

Actually sitting at #2 rank right now with a 21-2 record in this event. Went 9-2 my first try. Going to throw the next two games to just get my additional diamond.

Yup, especially as we're t the point where there really is very little else to aim for while doing the really long grind. I'm considering finally getting around to CQ extreme, as that involves a ton of games on rookie, as well as the tough games. That way would at least give me something that resembles progress.

I tried starting again and it was brilliant, but then after a couple of days it dawned on me just how ridiculous the jersey/hat grinds were, along with the insane amount of players you need to exchange and it's kind of killed that option so I'm back to my main account trying to knock out all the bronze/silver missions before going full steam on CQ extreme with my best team available (can't even remember the last time I used that tbh)

Yeah I think what I'll do is get Gibson and Thomas and Griffey, then run through ranked seasons. Spend the rest of the month going for Babe and Nolan for August and then hopefully I'm done lol

I also could say screw it, finish Frank and get Pujols, that's my 3b and 1b. But I want Babe lol

If you guys have any duplicates, especially 1st and 3rd baseman, or just cards you dont want. Sell now. I made nearly 30k selling random duplicates and free agents this afternoon.

Im playing the long game with these arc+immortal exchanges and all that and with some card prices anywhere from 3-5x more than usual, ill sell now and wait for the price drop to buy back when I need them.
