Historical stadiums...

Kolbe walked me through them yesterday and they look fantastic!....they will need to get fixed though.
A lot(okay...all) of them had digital scoreboards. Some of the signage was also too modern as nem stated....
The good news?....we went through all six, I noted the necessary changes and Kolbe is trying to get them in.

I'll be honest...even with the digitals...they look great and Brent and I played a game in the Polo Grounds...AWESOME.
He kicked my ***....hit a couple of triples....and inside the park homer(LEGIT!) and there were a couple of short porch homers over the 270(!!) mark in RF.

These are going to be a BLAST to play in...especially with historical rosters.

Hey knight, when you say updates from around the league, is it your franchise league or the real mlb? I onlya sk cause you say you still want a franchise ticker, is this the same as score updates or something different? Im trying to figure out whats in and what you hoped would be in.

Everything in your games is franchise specific.
It's going to add a TON of dynamic feel to your franchises now.
There is many new additions to franchise...it's ALMOST overwhelming

MK and I discussed writing a tutorial. As he said, looking at the franchise options can be a little overwhelming until you get used to it. It still has full roster control with no injuries, lineup control (so they stick), no lineup control (auto fix), put a guy on the DL, take him off, it goes on and on. It's all good stuff.

Has anybody played as the Cardinals? If so, do Pujols and Molina have new stances? Does Rasmus have a stance? Did they tweek Holliday's stance?

Has anyone played as the cleveland indians? I have three questions: How does progressive field in cleveland look in this years game? Will the drum guy be in the game this year ( the guy that pounds a drum when the tribe gets a rally going? Also will the home run siren sound that the indians use at progressive field be in the game this time around? Thank You.

Remember the ball is moving more quickly to the corner this year and is really rattling around. Last year the ball was slow moving in the outfield. Just a heads up.

Does the grass/turf make any difference?

no new stances were in the build of the game they played. The batting stances were still being worked on while they were there.

I specifically looked for both of these.

I didn't see anyone with gloves on the basepaths.(pocket only)

...and someone started a game where all the players were wearing long sleeves...but the ump still had short sleeves.

Knight. I am sure it is too late to impliment these things, but is there anyway to let the developers know (for '11) that this is something that we noticed and would like to be fixed. It doesnt bother me all too much, but just one of those things you know?

no new stances were in the build of the game they played. The batting stances were still being worked on while they were there.

I thought that was the build they played on the 21st. Didn't they play a new build yesterday? Guess that didn't have new stances either.

I'm pretty sure that Kolbe said that the logic is there...but it's not going to happen.
It's like it's off for the regular season and then on for the off season.
First...the rosters must ship with the FA on there from the roster cut off date....there are a lot of highly rated players there.
If the CPU were to start signing....you get the picture.

Now....I will argue with Kolbe that with 30 team control this year...that really won't matter......so maybe we can convince them for next year....the guys that want fantasy franchises...will get them....FULLY...the guys that want to control everything can and we still will be able to mix and match.

this concerns me a bit. What about cpu teams that have a guy get injured for the season or a lengthy amount of time(requiring 60-day DL), will they sign someone to replace? If not, then its as if the user has an advantage over the cpu.

Please tell me the cpu will sign guys to replace injured players.

any chance of the replay "cursor" having more freedom within the stadium?

ie: being able to watch a replay from the view of your actually seating area in real life

I remember it being mentioned a long time ago on a wish list, just wondering if it was ever picked up on.
