My question and I am sorry if it has been answered, I have been trying to follow the thread is about user walks. It is almost impossible to walk someone unless you are pitching around him. I am hoping that has changed this year. If not I might go to classic pitching to get more realistic stats.

    Thanks
I think this problem may be remedied by the ability to select different difficulty levels for hitting and pitching. HoF and Legend pitching get very unforgiving if you can't hit the yellow on the meter. Unforgiving as in missing your target and the zone - not hanging a fat one over the plate (most of the time, anyway )

There are a couple of options for pitching practice (simulated game and knockout), and one of the first things you may want to do in the game is try those modes with different difficulty options to see which suits you best. I believe both are done in a closed
environment - with no confidence effect. So it's a true representation of your ability with the meter.

We did not witness any wear and tear but were told about it. They made it sound like it was stadium specific. Not too sure. You would see things like worn out spots in the outfield where outfielders stand in the same spot through the season. Things of that nature.

Can you please direct me were you found this? I was intrigued to find out what this is when I read your comment, but can't seem to find it. Sorry about that.

Did any of you play in Camden Yards, and if so, can you tell me if it's been updated to include the hotel beyond left center field and also if the out-of-town scoreboard has been updated to be an HD screen?

          Thanks!
I do not think anyone played at Camden Yards, sorry!

Did anyone play at Fenway, and if so, did they change the Citgo sign, and is it animated with some other kind of symbol (if they cant use the Citgo one)?

I know you all mentioned that you got the Sawx back in the right pen, and had them change the Monster scoreboard to manual, just curious about the Citgo sign. Was just a glaring standout, that looked flat and out of place all the other years with a not even close texture on it.

I mentioned it in one of the threads.
I was running a franchise through it's paces and Kolbe was talking to someone on the other side of the room.
The talk was of field degradation during a game....if it was in or not.
Kolbe said...heck yeah...not only that but the field degrades throughout the season!
I perked up and asked if what I heard was right...he said yes and was talking a bit about it...
I wanted to continue...but something else caught my attention and I forgot to get back to asking him about this.

I never checked the sign sorry! I wish someone said that along with the bullpen and scoreboard.

Yeah, my fingers are crossed it was done, because Greg early on in the stadiums feedback thread asked specifically for pictures or videos of animated signs at the ballparks last year, and he specifically mentioned Citgo sign at Fenway as an example. Thus my hopes are somewhat high on that.

This guy here did a good job photo-shopping changes to Fenway, and using similar made up ads (Gulp, Cunningham, etc), especially like the Citgo one he did, better than the Show used for 09.

Greg was also pretty active during that time in that thread, so I things made it, but also wont lose sleep over it. The Bullpen changes and manual scoreboard have me a happy camper.

You had to up CPU pitcher control last year as the lower the control the greater the chance the CPU would miss over the plate instead of off the plate. With lower control, you would see more hittable pitches leading you to more swinging and less taking, which obviously decreases your chance of getting a walk.

I'll try again since my question got buried by the strike zone reply's

If you select RTP in your game how many game situations still default to cut scenes ??

What percentage of the game from the first pitch to the final out would you say utilizes RTP ?

I'm starting to think that only a small percentage of the game actually uses RTP

Either way it's not a bad thing.... I'm just curious

I would disagree with that. Upping pitch control led them to painting corners all day. Both the user and cpu had too much control on All-Star default. Lowering them both to 0 played better imo.
