You will still get wind at times but the gail force winds have subsided, lol. Depending on the direction they can still get out or beat down. Default wind is over the top for me.

Dont know if this one has ben mentioned, but I hit a grounder to to the first baseman, where he had to reach for it to his right, and the pitcher broke to cover first, and the first baseman threw just a bit behind and low to the pitcher causing the pitcher to reach for it. I made it safe to first by hair, very close play. Never noticed that in last yrs.

The pure hitting and pitching is awesome! I can actually take pitches which are balls easier. Pitching with lefties is easier too, i've always hated using lefty pitchers just b/c of the way the meter was flipped from how it appears with righties. Thanks SCEA!

I think I've finally gotten the hang of analog hitting. My team average has gone up from around .180 to the mid .230s in the past couple of series. I'm also getting much more extra base hits which is good to see. It feels so rewarding now when I hit a HR, especially with Adam Dunn since they tend to go a long, long way.

I actually lowered the wind slider by half, but may take it all the way down for a series or two to see what happens. Wind is intense this year.

You're the perfect guy to ask.

Are you bringing it down due to overall homers, or mainly because of how it defines the outlook of that day's game, or what?

I mean, over the course of a season...or however far you are...does it seem to blow in/out in equal proportions?...

Or, for whatever reason at all, since I'll be starting my franchise soon...could you elaborate?

There's no option because there is no rubberband AI. If you're losing late in games, change your strategy or lower the difficulty level.

I love this game. I was just about to up the difficulty but then got smoked by the Giants. I think this the first year where Ive lost a good amount of games and still love this game.

And I cant blame the comeback code(i know, there isnt one) since they had the lead the entire game. lol

Not really due to homers as the game, statistically, is balanced. I think the affects of the wind, homers, fly balls, popups, etc..., are a bit exagerrated. While I want the wind to be a factor in the game, I don't want it to be an obstacle, if that makes sense.

Yes, the wind blows in and out in equal proportions throughout the course of a season.

Hey Kevin, the night games actually start out with some daylight and then progress to the night. The first inning or two may look like a day game, but that will change.

If it never progresses to night, then I don't know what I am talking about.
