Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I just started up a Franchise using the Indians and I'm looking to add some pieces to this team. Primarily looking for some SP to cover the back end of the rotation, RP to bolster the bullpen, and improving the Corner infield spots. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!Comment

His glove alone gurantess that he will be a starting shortstop in the majors.....the utility player projection is nonsenseComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
The kid is 22 and is hitting over .280 in AAA while most players his age are in A or AA......and his glove is already MLB gold glove caliber. What does the kid have to do?

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Minor league stats mean nothing? They aren't the be all end all.....but they certainly mean something....my god
It's pretty obvious you have an agenda or a bias against the Red Sox.....you've already made a comment about "Red Sox fans thinking they know everything".....and you crap on every post on here regarding a Red Sox prospect.......Middlebrooks is overrated, Iglesias will never be more than a utility player, Lavarnway will not amount to anything, etc. etc.Comment

OK - so any 22 yr old player that's not starting in the majors is flawed and has nowhere to go.......let me know when the next flight to your planet is

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Can we keep this thread civilized? if somebody has their opinion on a prospect, let him be....that's all it is...an opinion...at the end of the day, their play on the field will do the talking, if and when they make it to the majors...Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

You act like I'm on here proclaiming these guys future hall of famers
Since we're gonna go there......Here is how I think the best Sox prospects will pan out.
Middlebrooks - Solid starting 3B in majors.....maybe a few All-Star games....count on him for roughly .280 and 25 to 30 HR a year
Iglesias - elite defensive shortstop at the MLB level.....career #9 hitter
Lavarnway - Catcher/DH may turn into an average catcher.....if he's in the lineup should be good for 20 HR, possible 35 HR potential
Ranaudo - #3 Starter - high end a #2, low end a #5
Matt Barnes - possible future ace, more likely a #2 starter for a good team at the MLB levelComment

Iglesias is the best defensive player I have ever seen at Pawtucket be it with the Pawsox or the away teams and I've been attending games since Mo Vaughn was in Pawtucket......Iglesias glove and hands are ridiculousComment
