    My start with Gallardo:
    7 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 5 SO (76% Strikes)

At one point, I struck out 4 in a row (3 swinging, 1 looking). I feel that if I leave 76% of my pitches around the plate, I will get hit up.

As for dropping Contact or Timing, they have only 8 hits on the game (Pirates). I feel if I drop the Contact slider a click, it will drop the hits down a tad, which almost seems TOO low.
Would you be opposed to going back to Default HOF, just with CPU Timing dropped a click?

    I'm concerned about BB though.

No, we can start at default HOF, why not? We need to base ourselves somewhere.

Give it a shot, CPU timing at 4 and just to calculate some swing-and-misses.

To be honest, we may need tp BUMP up our control/consistency.

        I don't know...

We could just leave timing, and go with a 6/6 for control/consistency?

I've played a few games already on Default with consistency at 6 anyway, but walks are still brutal.

I think we should all try the same adjustments, and post our pitching lines along with strike percentage, fouls, and misses.

I also think we should auto field and manual throw...because I can't field!

I don't mind auto fielding or any of that, let's do it!

I'm going in with timing at 4, control and consistency at 6. Seems like a good base for me, I'll post everything I can!

If I'm lucky, I'll get a game in later.

I'm at work now, and have to get up pretty early in the morning tomorrow.

Good luck man. I'm itching to join in.

This includes default running speed and stuff, right?

I'm going with my errors, stolen base and injury sliders though.

I didn't make any clicks to anything besides User Control/Consistency and CPU Timing.

I may make a click to errors and all those global sliders soon tho.

I'd say to just go ahead and do the global tweaks. The community here has tested them pretty well.

For the sake of testing, these changes help to add base runners and up RISP frequency. At default, the stats mentioned play out a bit on the conservative side (below MLB averages).

Fielding errors 10 (9 is okay too)
                Throwing errors 7
                Stolen base frequency 8
                Injuries 7 (I sim at 4)

Question; my User hitting sliders (contact, power, pitch speed, etc.) along with difficulty, will not disrupt our slider tests, right?

I want to practice my Analog hitting while we do these so I wanna be on Veteran while I'm hitting and have my hitting the way I like it. This won't harm our pitching tests, right?

Also, what about fielder speed? We need to have all those the same. Anyone wanna come up with a base set and post it here? With everything laid out?

I have a game going (in the 7th, atm) and I'm using 6/6/4 as the sliders we talked about (control/consistency/cpu timing). It's nice.. but I feel as if it's dominating as well. I'll have stats.

Forget about the hitting question, I'll do that another time. I'll just change the global ones and focus on pitching!

No, those things shouldn't disrupt the test.

I like default run speed, myself. But, in some parks, doubles do seem a bit hard to hit (offensively) at 5. The CPU can rake em' at any speed, so we should leave it at 5 for now.

I'm thinking all default HOF, with control and consistency at 6, and CPU timing at 4 (with the globals I mentioned above).

I'm personally not interested in changing my offensive sliders...thus, I want to make sure we don't fuss too much with run/reaction speed unless the stats deem it necessary.

Right, makes total sense. I dropped Pitch Speed to 3 (doesn't affect AI) and changed the global sliders to be like yours.
I feel that seems a solid base and we will click things when need be.
I should 3-4 results coming up sometime tonight.

                          Rays @ Nationals
                          Jordan Zimmermann - 7 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB (four-pitch), 4 SO
                          (94 pitches [28 balls, 66 strikes, 70% strike percentage] 11 fouls, 15 swings-and-misses)
                          Bullpen - 2 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 0 SO (3 fouls, 3 swings-and-misses)

Lost, 4-1. Zimmermann pitched great, yet had some pressure situations during the case of the game. Clippard came in and threw a scoreless 8th and Coffey gave up 2 in the ninth. That offense just sucks!

                            Great game.

Like I PM'd you, why don't you just post totals for now...highlighting notable starter performances when you feel necessary.

Could you also test within franchise or season mode (in other words, NOT exhibition) if you're not currently?

Knights rosters are fine, but we should NOT test with a pitch edit set (it changes how the AI approaches pitches, IMO).

Sorry for the stipulations, but in order to test, we need hot/cold streaks and SCEA pitch ratings (which the first few of Knight's sets have).

I'll use the OSFM Opening Day set and start up a 30 team franchise and just around picking games I wanna play/test.
As for stats, I'm confused on what'd you like. What I did above, too much detail on starters or what? Like, can I see an example of what'd you'd like?

I'll jump into a franchise with OSFM roster, as well and get some results for you guys. I'll pitch on HOF with the sliders talked about above. I'm going to switch teams and pitch for both sides to get more stats. What do you think?

BTW, I do feel that dropping fielders run speed a click or two, should be a consideration though.
