I'm literally "testing" with the 5/5 set (mainly the effect of Power slider at 6, which seems a bit overpowering)... that set isn't really recommended for use.

        Just in case.

Completely agree that Power at 6 is too much. As much as it affected game play I almost wanted to go back to Power at 4.

Hi Nomo and everyone on this thread, long time follower of Nomo, 1st time posting here.. I play RTTS on HOF difficulty as a Center Fielder. I've been making my way through the minors and just recently got called up to the Majors. Through the minors I was playing classic, meaning I would only play my at bats and field oops.. In the Majors however I enjoy watching at least the "Result Play" and all Fielding plays to have a better feel for my team and the league. This is where your sliders come in cause right now on my Hall of Fame difficulty, with just CPU Pitcher control down 1 click, there is no offense for either team. Through 20 games My Team has slid to last in Batting Average, and First in ERA which is proving it's not accurate. So my question is if I load your sliders in would changing to All-Star Difficulty be better since I'm having this problem? Is there anyone that plays RTTS that's having great results?

When I play RTTS the way you described, I don't usually mess with difficult levels and such, when the CPU vs. CPU component of the game (which Result Play presumably is running on) is at play.

There may be differences in how the game plays when you use Results Play type of thing though, as it only simulates one pitch and the counts are basically generated (just like in Quick Counts... which doesn't exactly work similarly to non-QC CPU vs. CPU games as far as I see).

However, whenever I play RTTS I do often use Results Play in more important games of the season, as I enjoy the atmosphere of playing within a team... and I haven't really experienced glaring issues like that. I haven't started RTTS in this year's game though.

I'm curious how low the offense is though. Which year are you in, and which team are you using? What are the team stats like? That might actually provide some clue as to what's going on.

Gonna try your latest slider set, Nomo. Mine was someone close, but needed some tweaking. Anyone else notice visiting team is winning about 70-75% of the time?

Nomo is the 5/15 set of sliders ones you would recommend for human vs CPU? Could we get an updated recommended set since you've done a few runs since your beta set?

I'm noticing the visiting team winning almost every time. I'm even putting better teams at home during test games and they are still just raking. It's actually getting frustrating.

I'm not seeing this in my spreadsheet... the game outcomes are pretty evenly split.

I want to make the 5/15 set a recommended one, and I'm basically running a check on it.

                        Injury Frequency: 5

I'd be happier if I could balance XBHs better, but it may take too long to "freeze" the initial set if I start adjusting things like BR Speed.

And I actually like how the game "looks" on these settings... it's very interesting but just bumping up Power by one make the game feel a bit "poppy," in a sense that the ball jumps off the bat a bit too hard, too often.

Good stuff. Have you seen any differences to the sacrifice bunt situation or bunts in general since the new patch claimed to adjust the success rate again?

Nomo, what roster are you using? I find a difference between the updated online roster and the V.1 roster. I seem to get a little more offense consistently out of the weekly updates.

So far I haven't seen excessive bunting (like suicide squeeze) yet... I just saw Kinsler does it but that's the only one I saw so far in like a couple dozen games. I cannot watch every games, though. Will see how it goes.

I'm using the default SCEA roster that ships with the game.

                              What is the V.1 roster?

I don't think SCEA changes player attributes drastically for the entire roster (individual players, they sometimes do), so as long as the roster sticks to the overall attribute rating distribution seen in SCEA ratings, the game should play fairly similarly.

I meant the OSFM Roster that seems to be the most popular one on here. It's located in the Roster Forum.
