I am still testing it. But so far I am really loving what I am seeing. So it is not official just yet. But everything is the same on the OP and I am simply playing with CPU Foul Frequency at 2 with the OP set right now as we see if it gets the gold stamp of approval. Now Playing on PS5:

I’m loving it so far. The games have a different feel to them, like where with my ace on the mound I can dominate weaker hitters. I’m also seeing a lot less of those frustrating at bats by the CPU pitcher where he fouls of 8 pitches then laces a 105 mph single up the middle.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
I’m going to play some games with foul frequency at 2 as well. However, I feel like a move back to 4 for user pitch control may be needed. I’m walking a lot fewer batters than I used to.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
I’m walking about the same amount as before, but I feel I have more control over it now. With control lower even if I tried to unintentionally intentionally walk a batter one of my pitches would drift over the plate and get crushed. Now if I want to pitch around a dangerous hitter I can. The higher control also really helps with that poorly thrown 2 strike pitch, not all the time but more than before.

Man, I sure do go through some serious streaks in this game, which is part of baseball, but dang.
I just lost my third straight to the Mighty Miami Marlins. I’ve scored two runs over the last 28 innings. No home runs.
Last game I had 8 walks, 7 hits... lost 3-1. Ugh.

One thing I notice about the game this year is the ability to string a bunch of hits together against a pitcher whose confidence is low. I just had 7 straight hits leading to 5 runs in my last game.

It's funny I spent all last year between HOF and Legend winning my fair share, just want have a "feel" that what I'm seeing on the game is what I see when I turn on a real ballgame and those foul balls are just excessive in my opinion.Baseball junky....Comment

I've noticed the computer is able to do the same when I'm on the mound. I like the feel of that.Baseball junky....Comment

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
I stated my season 3-10 and now stand at 20-18. It felt fantastic to kick scratch and fight my way back to .500 and now I can feel my team getting back on track and going for the division lead where I belong!
I am all about that “feel” as well. Always have been. It just took a little longer to adjust the sliders this year as they made significant changes to the hitting and pitching engine as well the fielding engine. I love the changes, but it took some time to hone in and make sure I could balance it for myself. I like sample size....I live by that. I have a big enough sample now.

Moving down the foul ball frequency to 2 has done wonders. Game feels great. And his challenging which is what I need because again, All-Star is flat out too easy for me now.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
I asked this before and didn't get an answer (unless I missed it). In the slider section on the OP there's "stride difficulty". I don't see that at all when I go into sliders. Where exactly is it?Comment
