When you open the roster in dangerz i would delete the minor league players, all AAA, AA and A. You simply right click on a player then delete all players in the grid. After you have deleted them all you would save the roster as a ps2 file. The reason i would try deleting all minors is that if the ps2 is the same as xbox the systems memory won't allow for that many players in a save and you will run into problems.

I'm going to try to do an 82 game season with The Show and a 54 game season with HH. I also want to give The Show a really good look and 82 games should be great. And then squeeze in the HH. Best of both worlds.Comment

Gosh, this really must be a great game. I have truly enjoyed reading this thread. I currently own the show 09 for the ps3 but for some reason, I always go back to mvp 05 (using mvp mod updated rosters) and the game is just fantastic. The games I have played are:
- All star baseball 2004- It was ok imo, just didn't really get into it.
- World series 2k3- I really loved this one. Just enjoyed the management aspect (played about 2 full season without simming).
- All star baseball 2005- Once again, i have it a shot but wasn't my cup of tea.
- MVP baseball 04- It wasn't too shabby, but it did make me look foward to 05
- MVP baseball 05 - The grand dady of them all IMO. Owner mode, contracts, full minors, etc. completely took me, and thousands of others, by storm. I still play this game even though I recently purchased "The Show." As a matter of fact, I am in season 4 since its release with the Pirates (once again, without simming 1 game).
- MLB 2k7- Great graphics and sliders made this game playable.

Hitstreak,
What are you waiting for? I whole-heartedly urge you to go out and get it! Be prepared for sub par graphics, but the gameplay is outstanding. Set your schedule to any number between 1 and 162, set up your rosters, and give it a shot! At 2 bucks, it's definitely worth it!

For $2 it is definitely worth a shot. Nobody can guarantee you will like it better than MVP 2005 or that you will even like it at all, but for $2 its is worth a shot. IMO, you can get much more realistic stats than you could get in MVP (especially pitching). Its not a game that will wow you at first glance...you have to play it a good bit before you start to appreciate how deep it is.Angels= 2025 World Series Champions!!Comment

I agree with you here in regards to the lack of realism in mvp. Although I love MVP, it is a bit arcady. I remember in season 2, Juan Pierre jacked over 13 HR and drove in 70 (no way that ever happens). Hell, I just looked at his stats and he has 39 career bombs in 4 seasons since I started. Anyways, I am going after work and gonna give it a shot. BSB, I think you are right. If I don't like it, its only a $2 loss which isn't too shabby. Thanks for the response.Comment

Is Pudge`s rosters for Xbox or Playstation 2? Tried to download his 2008 rosters and action replay said it was not a valid Xbox save. Thanks.Comment
