Started sluggish. Asked to be traded to the Astros because its easier to hit IMO. Now I'm midway thru September (A bit over 2 months in the majors) batting .359, 36 HR's, 79 RBI, 26 SB. Astros are in last so I'm requesting a FA. I hope to get the minimum number of AB's to qualify for batting title etc. very fun mode
Yeah being on the Astros as a 3B is a great idea considering that is by far their weakest position. I never knew you could specify which team to be traded to. What rating do you have to be to be able to do that?

Ok can anyone seriously help me steal a base for PC? I don't know what buttons to make him run, I can make him run 10% of the time, what buttons are they?

You should press and hold "advance to next base" button and then release it when pitcher will start his action for throwing the ball.

Ok thank you I will try that, I need to steal 10 bases to get called up, I'm in my second season and that's the last thing I need

I'm in my first full season of the Majors. Got called up in August now I'm already in May of the next year. Still have not chose my personal season goal. How do I choose this? The only thing I've seen is in an email from my manager saying it's a new season you have a team goal, bonus goals and a personal season goal that you choose at the beginning of the season. Haven't seen where I choose this goal...Any help would be appreciated.

I've never figured that out either.. I got the message from the manager 10 times in one day telling me to set a personal goal but never found out where to do it.. I won't have one in my first season but really it seems like you choose one to focus on but can still qualify for your HoF 'single season' goals regardless of picking one to focus on

I'm playing with a CF and I just finished my first "called up" season.

Now I'm starting what should be my first full MLB season.

Do you guys know when will I be able to choose my personal season goals?

I keep getting my email saying "now that you are a MLB player you will have season goals that you have to pick at the beginning of the season " but I'm already 3 games inside regular season and I haven't been asked for them to pick!

                    Is this normal?

My organization rank is 5 and my overall rating is 80. When can I recommend free agents ? My teams getting killed. I've lost a lot of talent.

I'm 38 games through my first AA season as a CF for the Giants organization.

I'm playing using mkharsh' slider set with no strike zone window.

I chose my player style to be CLUTCH and met all my season goals already :

                        20 games / BA < .275 / BA/RSP < .280 / RBI < 25

                        Currently hitting .323/~.700 OPS / 0 HR / 26 RBI

Instead of rushing to get called up I'm going to play through about 2-3 seasons in the minors to get my rating around 75-77 so I can immediately slot into the CF position. (Angel Pagan is rated a 75 so shouldn't be too bad)

Going to hold off on getting my POWER goal and just build up CONTACT as much as possible. Aiming for ROY when I finally get called up.

Also playing a SP but I started it on the All Star difficulty and finding it a little easy so going to restart one using mkharsh slider set.

I love the my player mode, but I'm getting kind of fed up with it. My first season, I played very well in the minors, but didn't quite get my stats to major league readiness up until the last game of the minor league playoffs.

I started out Spring Training in the majors and hit .255/6/14 and got sent back down to AAA...ok...well I guess I didn't have a good enough average. Go back to the minors and rip it up again and get called up after 32 games. I absolutely sucked in the major league level. Played 80 games and still was hitting a measley .197 but showed some power with 6 bombs and 32 RBIs. I get sent back down and finish out the year ripping it up in AAA.

Go back to Spring Training and hit .292 with 2 HRs, 12 RBIs and 6 stolen bases (batting leadoff). And guess what? Sent back down AGAIN!!! Is there no way you can make the team by playing well enough in Spring Training? I know you used to be able to in past games.

It would help if you told us what team and what position you play, because that makes a difference. The chances of you playing first base for the Tigers is a lot different than playing anywhere for the Astros.

CF and I play for the Mets. Torres shouldn't be keeping me down in the minors...especially since I'm an 82 overall.

Just finished my first AA with the Richmond Flying Squirrels.

                                Ended with a .319 avg / 0 HR / 56 RBI

Team finished strong the last month and a half went something like 30-10 probably and we made it to the playoffs with a 2 game lead in the division.

My very first AB in the playoffs I hit my first HR. Went oppo field and it barely cleared the wall but it counted. Just a solo but damn that felt good when I heard that loud crack and just watched the replay like 5 times lol.
