Actually steroid use is known to break the body down faster over the long haul. Look at the similarities between Caminiti's injuries and Bonds' injuries. They both had or have joint issues which is pretty common in steroid users. I think Bonds would still have been rather productive between the ages of 35-40 even without roids. I think it would be safe to say you can knock off anywhere between 65-85 HR's from his current totals if you took away the roids. I can see the guy slipping about 5% a year, starting at age 35, in his HR numbers meaning he would have hit around 28 HR's last year had he played a full season. Honestly, would that be unheard of for a guy with his tallent?

Someone can take steriods there whole life and nothing bad can happen or someone can take them for a couple years and get liver cancer *cough* Walter Payton *cough* or some other form of cancer. You get tumors.

And another thing people who took steriods can actually maintain a majority of their gains for a couple years after they quit."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Here's another question for you. Do you honestly believe that a person just loses muscle overnight? It's not like you go to bed one night weighing in at 250 and wake up a 140 pound chump.Comment

Originally posted by rsoxI don't know, between the last day of the 2004 season to the start of sring training last year Sammy Sosa lost several noticible inches of muscle mass, his frame was much smaller and that happend in 4 months. It may not happen overnight but it doesn't take long.Comment

Originally posted by AlliballI honestly think Bonds never stopped using performance enhancers. He found a way to beat the tests once, why is it so inconceivable that he couldn't do it again? The dude's ego is so out of control I can see him doing anything under the sun to try and duck and dodge MLB any way he can.Comment

Re: More Barry Bonds steroids stuff on ESPN radio right now
The truth is roids have been a big part of Baseball for the last 10 years. And when Mark and Sammy were hitting baseballs out is when people started watching baseball again. Even the commisher knew that fans wanted to see high scoring games, so they made it harder for pitchers. You guy can't tell me that the commisher of Baseball didn't know about all these roids being used. The fact is the drug makers will always be one step ahead. So we might never know who tests positive. But to tell you the truth roids don't brother me, if that is want they want to do go for it. Baseball has always had someone cheating. When that much money is involved that is what is expected.Comment

Originally posted by DiademExactly, Baseball has been dirty since it's creation.
It is just the truth, but people don't wont to hear that lol. Bonds cheated, I believe that, but it doesn't change anything, because others have cheated since the beginning. If Baseball really care about roids they would have stop in before it started. Now that all this is coming out baseball is now acting like it cares.
If you want to go as far as saying Roger M. has the home run record you can't even say that, because he played in more games than Ruth did. Records don't need an * because Bonds is not the only one who has cheated in Baseball. Everybody hates him so much they just want him to have an * after his records. What ever, Sports will always be corrupt. To much money involved.Comment
