it's like they forgot they even put these in temporarily for last year and forgot to remove them after the season was over.
so yesterday we get to extras and umps are double-checking the rule book like, ''yeah Joe, here it is, section 57, small print. says they're entitled to put a guy on base without earning it.''

I could see them moving the ASG to Texas.

Likely the biggest crowds they can get, while also having it at a new ballpark.

Yeah, because if there was gonna be a sport that stood tall and keep quiet over a voting law that's pretty much nothing more than an attempt to curtail someone's voting it was definitely gonna be the sport that colluded to keep a certain segment of the population out of their league until 1947.

But yeah, let's be mad at the MLB for the fact that they did something that doesn't give with your politics.

Without being political, Texas is about to do the same thing Georgia did. Unless Texas does a 180, It's probably not going to Texas.

At this point it would be easier saying which states are ok lol.

Give it to someone who hasn't had it in a while.

Os and Cubs haven't held it in over 25 years. Rays have never held one either (although a HRD there would be a disaster).

Or....can we get the ASG at the field of dreams? Now that would be the greatest ASG ever.

Wrigley was my first thought outside of Texas, as I went through all the ballparks in my head.

The only other one I thought of was Citizens Bank Park, but they're hosting it in 2026.

Wrigley’s got a few concerts scheduled for this summer, so ASG might not work there. I don’t know the All-Star festivities’ or the concerts’ dates off the top of my head to know for sure though.
