I was going to be content with a split but with Harden going tonite I'm thinking sweep Go Cubs.

Yeah, coming into this series I thought a split would of been great. Considering how inconsistent the team had looked the last couple of weeks and how good the Brewers had been playing.

Hope they can finish them off today and get that win for Harden.

11-1 right now this 4 game sweep should be a huge boost for the team Fielder just got the boot to. Love it

That, gentlemen, was a four game ***-whoopin'!!!

We get them for 7 games in September, I bet they will still be sore. August looks relatively Cubs-friendly. September could be tough, with 7 against Milwaukee, 6 against StL, and series (away, i think) in NY.

The Dodgers picked up Manny Ramirez, but I still feel the biggest threat to the Cubbies comes from the east. LA could put together 2 good months, however, and make things tough. I am sure Kent and the others will be a bit more motivated now.

PS---FWIW, I am on the Edmonds BandWagon...words officially eaten.

Great series, none of us saw that coming, we absolutely demolished them.

Break out the brooms, wow talk about making a statement. You could see how frustated the Brewers got. Before the series a lot of the Brewers players were stating how all the pressure was on the Cubs and that they had nothing to loose. But from watching the series the Brewers were tense and it was them that folded under the pressure.

Was at the game today. Awesome sweep. Still alot of work to do though. I really like this team despite me getting pissed at them alot during the ebb and flow of the season. The O has woken up again. Rich harden is sick, was glad to see him go seven. Could could less about the ten K games, we need you to go 7 my friend!

Class move by Gagne and Yost. I guess those f'n scrubs couldn't handle getting swept at Wrigley North. Oh well, the title is more important. Forward march!

                    Hey Milwaukee, whaddya say?!?

                    Hey guys...have some questions...

I will be visiting Wrigley for the first time EVER on August 31st. I have tix for the bleachers. Phils will be in town.

How early should I arrive if I want to be able to sit in LF, like, right above the basket? I want Burrell to hear me when I taunt him and his mother.

It is an afternoon game, 1:20pm.

If you are visiting from out of town I would recommend getting there early. You want to take in the whole Wrigleyville experience, especially if you are of drinking age there are tons of bars and plenty of restaurants. It's very unique, you should get there early (10:30) and walk around. Plus there is always a long line to get into the bleachers you want to be able to get prime seats.

But one thing I know is you're going to love it, have fun at the game and bring us luck.

Man I envy you, I haven't been to Wrigley in about three years.

Woody should be back for the Cards series. I love the way things are coming together

Big test of mettle and mentality today for the Cubs, and they pass with flying colors. Wood pitched the 8th, giving up only one hit, and Marmol sat down the Astros in order in the 9th.
Howry surrendered a one-run lead after Harden allowed the 'stros to score 6 runs.

Derosa and Soriano had big days, 3rbis each, and Lee had 3 hits.

I didn't see the game, but looking at the box score, there's quite a few errors in your post. Harden allowed 5 runs, 4 of which were earned. Soriano had 4 RBI, and Lee had 4 hits.
