whats sad is, wright is the most clutch player on our team at the plate in my opinion, and still I wouldnt depend on him for much in the clutch so its not saying much.

Im just sick of Reyes. he walks around with his chest out, doing all the high fives,etc. it just got old. we dont need all that, we need guys like utley who keep their head down and let their play do the talking. I read stuff about this guy becoming a leader? not in this lifetime, and right now we need leaders.

you guys see Feliciano after he gave up that HR? Big ole smile on his face. The attitude of this team is on a different planet.

my "heilman" replacement Green pulled through today along with Olly. If perez isnt in the minors or pen after today, someone needs to start explaining how winning is the primary goal for the Mets cause i cant beleive he makes another start if winning is the objective.

but keep in mind, that he can ONLY go to the minors, if he gives the nod...they (Mets management) cannot force or 'make' him go...

so, let's say he refuses, one option they have is to put him on the DL...

time will tell.......

Our lineup keeps us in every game.

I'm sorry...I didn't get the impression of a 'comment' from your original post.

If you had said "your offense has been outstanding, and has kept you in games" then THAT would be a compliment. Remember...adjectives are important...

IMO your post was more or less an attempt to diminsh our starting pitching (did you see Blanton last night, QS baby), and say that the only reason we're up on you in the standings is because of offense and some otherwise "lucky" comebacks. Not to mention you fired at Lidge too...I guess to understand that post of yours I've got to have my Rod_Carew29 glasses on

Hey...good thing you guys were able to get 4 runs and the lead back before the 7th inning hit...that way that 0-10 record when trailing after 7 innings didn't come into play.
