you know, ever since 06 I have really felt like we have been a win or 2 away from going to the series. like this team is capable and on the edge of being a great team. watching this mets team day after day, I must say that this team is not a championship team, even if they all start playing decent, at best they are a borderline .500 team.

Im hoping, at this point for a 3rd place finish and something respectable but I think the mets coaching staff needs to be completely wiped. from the head coach to the bullpen coach, and I would like to see beltran and delgado , o perez, reyes, sent elsewhere. reyes is fast, and can hit at some points, but I dont like his demeanor or attitude. I pretty much dont like the make up of this team, and now since the mets brass are having economic issues, start over. At least give me some promising prospects to think about the future. right now im just waiting for the team to completely implode and there no hope with this bunch.

Yeah that Jose Reyes, what a bum. The Mets should ship him up to Boston so that he's not only out of the division, but out of the National League. That punk is always smiling and upbeat, who does he think he is?! Instead of doing all of that charity work, he should be practicing his scowl in front of the mirror. As for Beltran, don't even get me started on that one...

the month of May...when all is said and done....about 50 games in... will tell a lot about what's to be in store from that point onward....one way or another

I've had this conversation about what I viewed as Renegade's obvious bias against Latino players (the threads should still be on file) for the last two years...I accused him strongly of disliking Latin players, which I will always take personally, no matter who does it, because of my very own family lineage...

However, in the past, each time I took it to his doorstep, he said that was not the case....

Do you guys watch the games? I mean a bad team is a bad team, this team is a bad team. No heart, Nothing. I'm not a wright fanboy either. I just know they will never get rid of him, hes just the only player who SNY can interview after the game cause everyone else runs away. Everyone thinks this dude is the leader or face of the franchise, maybe when he gets older, but right now hes got about as much leadership ability as my dog.

I also think whoever evaluates talent needs to get a job at the hotdog stand cause he sucks. Lets continuously cycle through aaron heilman prototypes in the pen and collect a paycheck. Lets look at Shawn Green, the dude actually resembles, physically, a mixture between Heilman and Schoenweiss. If those 2 were to create a baby, it would be shawn Green, and his ERA directly reflects that. Give me a break.

at this moment, Park is NOT the only starting pitching issue the Phillies have...quite frankly, the starting pitching for the Phillies has overall, been abysmal...it's been the offense...the late inning comebacks that have kept the Phils a little above the .500 mark.

And Lidge has been less than stellar also....

Looky, Looky, Perez getting shelled, reyes pops out to 1B with bases loaded, I mean did anyone actually believe Reyes was going to get a hit there? It was a guaranteed out in my book. Hopefully Perez gets pulled soon enough and the pen can come through and hold.
