Not sure where I remember you shouting from the rooftops regarding our opening day catching situation. Not that predicting Ross will catch Lester on Opening Day is that much of a stretch anyway. I think most would probably say the same thing.

However they have made it clear that it is also going to depend on match ups as well. Wouldn't be surprised if Montero gets the start against Wainwright or Lynn, due to him hitting from the left side.

Missed the presale today, but will more tickets for opening day be released? And when? I've never made it to Wrigley for a game but I've been saving up to make a trip out there and think opening night would be an awesome one to go to.

Look back a few pages. It's there. Not a big deal, just having fun with it.

EDIT: It must've been in the Hot Stove thread. Or maybe I had the conversation in my head...lol.

March 6, I believe. No idea what time, but I'd be ready to grab them on Friday.

Today's presale sold out in 2 minutes.. No idea if it was a very limited number of tickets, but that's crazy. It's a shame that the bleachers won't be ready, I'd love to be out there on opening night.

Also, I should probably ask... given that it's my first time going to a game at Wrigley, are there any seats that I should avoid? Like obstructed views and stuff? Where do you guys recommend sitting if I'm looking for a decent view but don't want to completely break the bank (meaning I'm not sitting front row or anything lol).

              Avoid the bleachers till June.

But seriously. Wear lots and lots of layers. Night games in April are a bitch

Most games in April are, day or night. I go every year around my birthday (the 20th) and it's always so freaking cold.

As for the seating question: I'd advise sitting somewhere that's going to maximize your chances of getting some sun, an art that I haven't mastered quite yet. As long as you properly layer or want to drop an insane amount of money on a blanket, (hey, it's from *Wrigley Field*) you'll be fine.

The bleachers are about the only place I haven't sat. That's going to change this year.

Alright, so no obstructed seats or anything? I feel like I had read that there were a couple at some point but not sure.

Weird that the Cubs come to Denver in April, but I'm getting tickets for the Saturday and Sunday games. Super excited to see the team in action, but it's too bad Bryant won't likely be on the team yet.

Off the top of my head. If you're under the terrace there might be a seat where a beam in the way.

So go for box seats and pray it doesnt rain.

EDIT: Just remembering i believe the terrace seats directly behind home plate are beamless.

Maybe looks like Baez got rid of the leg kick.

I'll be there too, both Saturday and Sunday wearing my Castro All-Star jersey lol Sitting down the 3rd base line near LF.

Nice, those are good seats. My wife and I are getting a big group for the seats just beyond the RF wall. We sat there for one of the games in the Cubs series last year and they were really good.

There ARE obstructed view seats at Wrigley... Depending on how you buy the tix, they will let you know if they are or not.
Any thing under the terrace on the lower level will have the support beams to get in the way... Some seats you won't even see them much, but there are a few where the beam is literally right in front of you (still don't know why they still have seats there)...

To be truthful, if this is your first time to Wrigley, I'd wait until the summer. The stadium won't be under construction, and the weather will be better. Part of the fun is the outside the park stuff... In April, it's gonna be COLD!

The Cubs game today is only being broadcast on the radio via MLB.com....... But when I go to the website, I'm not sure where to find it.

Anyone know if I just have to wait for the game to start or do I need the MLB at bat app?

                                Thanks...
