I hear you. At least we're one step closer to getting back the NBA and getting an NHL team. At least that way we can be tortured with losing year round.

I don't care if we get the NBA back. I was a huge Sonics fan and grew up on a healthy diet of Payton and Kemp. I even made a rap about them...

"Payton and Kemp, don't fake the funk, on their trademark move the alley oop slam dunk! Det the Threat is going at his own pace, he just knocked down another three up in ya face... Nate McMillan can pick off the leather, it must be some fierce REIGN MAN WEATHER!"

Wrote that when I was 12 or so... Kind of corny, but it still makes me and my friends laugh. Anyway, I loved the NBA and the Sonics, but when Clay Bennett moved the team with the help of David Stern, I was done. It was terrible for me to experience the feeling of losing a team as a new owner held the state hostage while making empty proclamations of trying to keep the team here. I don't hate the NBA, but it's been dead to me since, and I don't know if I would ever come back, even if Seattle secured another team. Stern would definitely have to be gone.

Not an NHL fan, but a team would be cool and might help me get into hockey. I kind of doubt it, but it would be cool for everyone else who wants a team.

I am done with Brandon League being our closer. Not because I think he sucks; he has been solid. I just think it's time to trade him and get something for him while we still can. With Pryor and Capps down on the farm, League is highly expendable.

Shaping up for another 95+ loss season. Good times, indeed.
