I know Phillips went off at one point at the 4, I still don't know why he was moved from the 2. Choo, Phillips, Votto; idk how you pass that up as your 123.

      Very interesting graph from Fangraphs:

I thought it would be a lot worse. Maybe our hitting coaching isn't as bad as I thought it was.
      NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)
      NBA: Indiana Pacers (42-13)
      MLB: Cincinnati Reds (0-0)
      NHL: Detroit Red Wings (26-20-12)
NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers (FB: 1-11, BB: 15-12), Michigan Wolverines (FB: 7-6, BB: 19-7, H: 15-10-3)

I find that especially interesting that teams over .500 winning percentage are spread all throughout that chart

I just saw this play by Phillips. He makes it look so damn easy.

We win in spite of Dusty Baker, not because of him.

In a one-run game in the bottom of the sixth, why would you let Alfredo Simon hit for himself?

If you have Aroldis Chapman, Jonathan Broxton, and Sean Marshall in the bullpen, guys who are making lots of money to make the important outs....why are Sam LeCure and Alfredo Simon pitching three innings in a one run game?

If you have the best left-handed reliever in the game, why only pitch him one time in the last week?

As long as the Reds win, I'll grin and bear it. But my goodness, Dusty Baker baffles me.

                  I agree completely.

Is Derrick Robinson hurt? I'm confused why Lutz is getting playing time over him when Robinson, albeit a small sample size, has gotten on base more than him and is a lot better on the bases/in the outfield. If he is hurt, why the hell is he on the team? That's a waste of a roster spot.

What a big series there. It's huge that they ended that homestand that way, and now they head to Miami where they hopefully can continue the momentum.
Congrats to Lutz as well for his first career home run!

It helps to play two of the worst teams in MLB.
                          NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)

I know I hammer on Dusty a lot, but he makes it easy...

Like him insisting on giving away an out and taking the bat out of Joey Votto's hands with the sacrifice bunt.

Kills me every time he does it.

Third time the bullpen has blown the save on Latos. Shame too as well as he has pitched.

And if Chapman blows a few more leads, perhaps he'll be demoted to the starting rotation?
