Today was fun. Gary doing what I expected. And Red thunder looking locked in.

I'm hoping whippet (no idea what that means) changes the meaning I'm reading of this sentence because Dillon Tate both throws and hits right handed and I don't know what to do with this information.

Gardner hitting leadoff again? Smart they told me, analytics they told me. Someone show me the analytics that are in favor of Brett Gardner in the year of our Lord 2019 leading off?

We need the analytics team who advises Boone to do interviews after the game so we can get answers outside of "Our guys are so close to turning the corner".

Sanchez to the IL too. It’s time to go into settings and turn injuries off

More like go to September (start of football season) on the schedule and hit sim to date. See what the Jets can do this year.

Things somehow got even worse already since that news. Betances rehab isn’t going well and he needs an MRI on his shoulder. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up needing surgery.

5 out of our nine starting position players are on the DL that's not including Sevy and Betances. This is just stupid. All these guys are young and the season just started. This **** makes no sense.

What’s more concerning is the bullpen. They’re the one group that is almost unaffected by the injury issues, and they’ve been terrible. 5-8 with a 4.34 era! Good for 15th in the league. They’re not going to win many games even at full strength if they can’t control a team like the White Sox.

Hal needs to open his wallet. It’s Kimbrel and Kuechel time.

Tanaka implodes and Rays win again. At this rate by the time everyone is back the Rays will leave them in the dust.

Don’t you listen to all of the talking heads? These games don’t matter! It’s just April!

Thing is too, does the injury excuse even work against teams like the Orioles, Tigers, and White Sox? Even with all the injuries, is what they have left really worse then what the Orioles, Tigers, and White Sox have? I don’t think so. Can’t get a much softer schedule then they’ve had.

Boone also doesn’t seem like the kinda guy to fire up a team. Meanwhile Kevin Cash continues to get the most out of what he has in Tampa, a roster with a lot less money invested in it. But hey, at least he’s good at communicating and connecting with the players while they get beat up on by rebuilding teams! But according to him in Houston ‘they are really close to turning the corner’! Only place his team is close to going is off the cliff.

That's not true... They'll get close to setting a revenue record if not doing it outright, Hal and the accountants win.
