Don’t like how Boone is taking his foot off the gas by resting key players today against Tampa.

What is the logic there? Am I missing something? Can’t these guys play one more day and use the All Star Break to rest up? None of them are in the HR Derby, some are in the ASG but they won’t play a full game and it’s not at all a serious game that matters anymore. Plus 2 days of no games after that. Is that not enough rest time to stretch it one more day with some guys for a game against the Rays, a team it’s important to beat?

Guess they’ll need this extra off day considering the unstoppable force they’ll be playing coming out of the All Star Break. That Blue Jays roster is terrifying.

The way Morton was pitching, I don't think it mattered.

So reportedly Chapman will be opting out of the 2 years and 30M left on his deal after this season and hit FA. How far do you go to resign him?

I don’t know if I’d go more then 2 years. Don’t really trust him once that velocity starts to dip. He’s 31 now, his best years are very likely behind him after this season. I don’t think he’s very far off from starting to go downhill. Refusing to go more then 2 years likely means losing him but so be it in my opinion. Let someone else make that mistake and be stuck with a declining Chapman.

            "He gone."

Hopefully we win it this year so it doesn't hurt when he does. I don't see them paying him.

We also need to win this year so I can have my championship to remember. They put a patch on our jersey, I am outta here.

His injury updates are like reading a riddle at this point. The last one was "he's not close but has made several breakthroughs in the last 24-48 hours." Wut? Is this guy fighting for his life? I guess the Judge updates were similar but our medical staff is just weird.

I just remembered Tulo is a Yankee.

Yea I'm no medical professional. But I really get this feeling we need to reevaluate this training staff. Every position player has been hurt minus Who? Gio and D.J. it's been a bit absurd . Especially considering how young this team is.

I hated the Stanton trade the moment I heard about it.

In the meantime, I agree about Chapman. Let him walk.

Also what are the odds we make a run at Arenado when he hits free agency.

This just in. Chapman denies opt out reports. Says they were false. Hmm...

Probably not high since he'll be 36.

Where the hell is Andujar going to fit in next year? Think the Yankees got their infield of the future.

Boone slander will no longer be tolerated. We need hot mics for every manager-umpire confrontation. Rotowear had a "my guys are ****ing savages" shirt up in like 15 minutes.

#savagesinthebox needs to be trending all season. I want these guys wearing the shirts during warm-ups all post-season.

edit: I guess most people are just going with #savages. It works.
