Flyer fans, at least we'll get an extra home game or two in the NIT.

Please, Rhody, I plead to you...don't screw up tomorrow.

I think if they win tomorrow, they may be in. It's hard to argue against their resume. May need a win or two in the A-10 Tourney.

Well, they indeed screwed up and lost by 2 to UMass.

They need to get to the finals to even have a shot at the NCAA's.

I think they're done as an at-large candidate. They need to win the tournament in AC. If they had just beaten St. Bona and UMass, I'd have felt pretty good about their chances of getting in. They were rather disappointing, yet again. Grant it, yeah, Jimmy Baron graduated, but I still expected them to do better.

And to make things worse for URI, Baron's other son now is not coming to URI next year it was announced. Makes we wonder if Baron SR. is leaving the school soon.

It's time for him to move on. His teams have been choking on themselves way too often for a team that wants to become a strong mid major. I love what he did in making Rhody consistent, but they have also been predictable down the stretch when they are in NCAA contention.

A poster on a Xavier forum mentioned something about that and everybody was wondering if that meant Baron was leaving at the end of the season. Haven't heard anything definitive about that.

Here's an article on Billy Baron choosing UVa over Rhody.

A-10 Tournament is set and I like the draw for Temple.
They would play the winner of the St. Bonnie's and Duquense ( Duquense shouldn't be slept on though). If Temple can win there play either St.Louis/Rhody or St.Joe's and avoid Xavier/Richmond until the title game.

I'm sorry but Jordan Crawford was robbed of POY. Kevin Anderson is a great player and deserves to be on the First Team but Crawford was the leading scorer in the conference for a team that won a share of the league title. Frankly I think X is poorly represented among these awards. Whatever. No matter. They'll just show up in AC pissed off and ready to win the tournament.

What a tough fnish for the league. Charlotte, Dayton and Rhody all imploded and made it a 3 bid conference. At least there are 3 locks this year, but it could have been much better.

I really wish they would fire Lutz, I am tired of this lets jack up 3's all game even when they aren't falling gameplan.

Is it hard to ask for them to give the ball to Spears or Braswell inside? But I am sure they wont fire him, so I expect the 49ers to continue to suck in the A-10 until he is gone.

As for POY, happy for KA but I also agree that Crawford probably should have won. In fact, I thought KA played terrible against X, especially in the 1st half

Even though UD lost a close one at Xavier and beat the Muskies handily at home, they have no chance in this game. They were fairly unimpressive against GW at home last night and they are a terrible road team. I expect a double-digit loss to XU and a trip to the NIT.
